Spending Time Together on a Beautiful Fall Day

Every child has a unique story of how they came to be. Your child's story will be a blessed one, because he/she will have the love of not just their adoptive family, but yours as well.

Should you choose to place your child with our family, we will ensure he/she will never forget the sacrifice you made for them or how blessed we feel to have him/her in our lives.

We have found an amazing book, which we cannot wait to share with your child. This book, God Found Us You, shares the story of Little Fox, and the prayers of his birth mother to find someone who would keep him safe as well as the prayers of the adoptive parents to find a special child to complete their family. One night, both prayers were answered and Little Fox forever knows and understands how much he is truly loved.

We plan to create an adoption scrapbook, a lifebook, for your child. In it, we will create a history for your child that can include, if you like, mementos from you such as pictures, a letter, a toy, or a favorite book. It is important to us that he/she always know that the choices that you made were made out of love.

Please know if you place your child with us, you will forever be a part of our family.

Baking Christmas Cookies - The Kitchen Smelled So Good!

Mark: Mark has a wide variety of interests and hobbies that occupy much of his time. He loves to spend the weekends working in the yard, tending to the koi pond he built in the back. He is a huge hockey fan and likes to go to professional games as well as his cousins' high school games.

Lisa: There is always the smell of fresh pies or cookies coming from the kitchen. Lisa loves to spend a great deal of her time baking and cooking for friends and family.Lisa also enjoys spending time talking walks with Mark and Shiloh (our dog) in both the park near our home as well as the dog park close by our neighborhood. Being in the sun, enjoying time with friends and family makes for a perfect day.Reading has become a favorite pastime for Lisa. She loves to relax and curl up with a good mystery novel, while enjoying a cup of fresh coffee on the front porch swing.

Mark & Lisa: We enjoy being adventurous together. Whether we are holding on for dear life - laughing the whole way - on a roller coaster or listening to live music on the riverfront, we are always enjoying life and taking nothing for granted.

Spending time with friends and family always takes priority in our free time. We see both families at least once a week and try to get together with friends for a barbecue with them and their young children as well.

About Mark through Lisa's eyes - Five years ago, I was lucky to find the love of my life, though I was not even looking for him.  Each day since has been a blessing, filled with love, laughter, hope, and adventure.  Mark is truly one of a kind - he fills every person around him with joy, simply by smiling.  I love that Mark is really a kid at heart; he laughs with his whole body and soul, enjoys playing games and being silly.  I admire Mark for his ability to welcome others into his life, as though they have been there always.  He is a warm-hearted, caring, calm, beautiful person.  I cannot express in words how excited I am to be taking this journey with him.  Please know if you should place your child with us, Mark will be a wonderful father - fun, adventurous, loving, supportive, and protective.

About Lisa Through Mark's eyes- I love Lisa with all of my heart - from her, I get my strength and will to succeed.  She is kind, patient, caring and supportive - I could not find a better partner in life.  Lisa is my best friend; I love sharing life with her.  She cares so much not only about me, but everyone she meets.  Lisa has a special place in her heart for children; it warms my soul to watch her light up when kids are around.  Should you place your child with us, Lisa will be an outstanding mother.
