How We Met
Going to a Family Wedding

We have a very unique story on how we met. After the war started Devlin was deployed to Iraq. At the time Robyn was working on her undergraduate degree in NJ, and wanting to do something to cheer up at least one Marine she wrote an "any Marine" letter just to offer some words of encouragement. The letter found its way to Devlin and we started to exchange letters. After a few letters we lost touch for nearly a year until Devlin saw Robyn online one day and instant messaged her. After that point we never lost contact again, talking constantly and eventually Devlin made plans to fly out to NJ where Robyn was living at the time. We met and we both knew we were meant for each other. We made the long distance relationship work so Robyn could finish her degree, and a few years later we were married. Now because of our unusual way of meeting, Robyn likes to joke and tell people that she mailed away for her husband.

Our Lifestyle
Robyn and Graham at a Local Park

We lead a fairly simple lifestyle that revolves around our family. Since Devlin is sometimes gone for work our goal is to always spend as much time together as a family. Whether it is spending a lazy Saturday at home or spending the day out and about we make the effort to do it as a family. We are also very fortunate that Devlin's job in the military does not require us to move often, so we are able to really enjoy everything this area has to offer. We love spending time outdoors, trying different restaurants, and visiting all the wonderful places in the area like the museums, historic sites and aquariums.

Our Pets
Nala, Pudgy and Hondo

The saying "home is where the fur flies" is definitely something that would apply to our family. We have three dogs and a cat who are quite convinced they are little humans in fur costumes. The dogs are very interactive with our son. Our oldest dog loves to cuddle with Graham, the middle one loves to play fetch with him, and the youngest (and also biggest) dog is, well let's just say he is Graham's partner in crime. In cat-like style. Ninja will appear on his own private schedule, unknown to anyone, to join in the fun.
