Picture your child safely secured in a carseat in the back seat of a bright red 1965 Chevy Nova, happily playing, a few stray white dog hairs on his/her clothes. That's our dream! We've been together for 25 years....time sure flies when you're having fun! We have so much love to give, that we know we will be great parents. Thanks for taking time to get to know us.

Our Leisure Time
Collecting Gifts for Toys for Tots

We just love classic cars!

We love everything about them - the paint, the shiny chrome, the history, the old music, and the many people we meet along the way that goes with them.

Big Winners at a Car Show with Our 1938 Chevy Truck

Most of our free time is spent enjoying this great hobby. One of the best things about the hobby, in addition to preserving a piece of history, is that it helps to raise money for various charities. We joined together with a friend in 2010 and started our own car club. Each year we put on two car shows to help raise money for March of Dimes and Autism Speaks. We are happy that we have managed to raise over $20,000 in the last year and a half for these two deserving charities that support children. Last year, we collected over 500 toys for Toys for Tots in less than a week. We would like to share this hobby, the history, and the values it teaches with a child.

Our Pets
Our Happy Family - With Dallas and Jeremy

Our Dalmatians Dallas and Jeremy "adopted us" from a rescue group where we volunteer. They are currently the most important things in our lives. Dallas is deaf and knows sign language commands. When she had extensive back surgery, Tina slept on a mattress on the floor with her for three months while she recuperated and Trey took her to swim therapy twice a week. Jeremy loves to romp in the back yard and jump up and down and howl to express his pleasure, yet is so gentle and loves to snuggle.

A Reunion with One of Our Former Foster Dogs

We assist the rescue at adoption events, where we help to educate the public about the breed and try to match dogs with appropriate families. We have even been "foster parents" to a couple of dogs while they were waiting for good homes! Every year we attend the rescue's Spotted Dog Reunion, where we get to visit with dogs that have been adopted and their new forever families.

Through being around animals and working with a rescue group, we hope to raise a child who respects animals, treats them with kindness and compassion, is responsible in their care, and who steps up to their obligation to help those less fortunate.

Of course, having "fur-babies" is not the same as sharing our lives with a child, and we can't wait to add a child into our "furry" spotted family.

Our Favorite Vacation Spot
We Love the Peacefulness of Ocean City!

One of our favorite vacation spots is Ocean City, MD. It's a family tradition to spend a week there every Summer with Trey's Mom and Dad and his Aunt. Trey loves to play the claw machines in the boardwalk arcades and we like to play arcade games and give the tickets to little kids so they can trade them for prizes.

We enjoy the peacefulness and solitude of the sounds of the surf and the sea gulls, and the tangy smell of the salt air. We have fun walking on the boardwalk, taking walks on the beach and collecting shells, going to concerts on the beach, and just being with family and friends. Trey and his Dad fish from the bridge or the shore and catch flounder, sting rays, and small sharks. Tina likes to go along, but reads or takes walks while Trey fishes.

We go there at least twice a year and try to make it to at least one of the big car shows they have there, where the whole town is filled with old cars and we have a parade of cars on the boardwalk and throw candy to the kids.
