As parents, we would lead by example and raise the child in a Christian home with high moral values and unconditional love. We would be role models; ones that show and demonstrate to the child how to live morally, speak honestly, express love, communicate feelings, and decipher between what is right and wrong.

What We Will Tell Your Child About Their Adoption
We will tell your child at an early age about the loving and thoughtful gift of adoption that was awarded to us by you, their birth parent(s). This will allow him or her to grow up knowing that two very special families love them. We will ensure the child feels very special about being adopted, not alone or different. We would like the child to understand that you did a very courageous and loving thing, and as they grow older we would like to share a glimpse of what you are like. We want them to appreciate the amount of love it takes to make a thoughtful plan for a child's future. Adoption should be something
the child feels very comfortable discussing and asking questions about. Adoption will always be spoken of openly in our family as a very positive and beautiful gift from God.
What Takes Priority In Our Lives
Our marriage and personal relationship is one of our highest priorities. We are best friends. We have committed to a lifetime together, in which we can share each other's successes, challenges, and learning opportunities. It is very important to us to communicate with each other and share our feelings. We never leave each other without a kiss/hug and "I Love You".
Family is a high priority to us. We are extremely close to our families and take pleasure in spending time with them. Family time is an opportunity to provide encouragement and support for each other. We are very excited to become active, involved, and loving parents. We would love to model our parents’ methods of handling family matters and demonstrating
love to them.
Our other high priority and main focus is God. We are both spiritually committed and feel that our biggest responsibility as parents is to raise our child with strong Christian values and faith. We are both active in our church and look forward to making our child a part of our church family as well.
Our Passions
Posing in Our Our High School Referee Uniforms
One of Brad's passions is soccer. As a kid, he loved to play the game whenever he had the chance with the kids in his neighborhood. He transitioned from a player to a referee during his college years. He started officiating young kids and after many years of hard work has moved up to officiating college and professional level soccer. He is looking forward to the opportunity to experience the game from the perspective of a parent. Brad's other passion is staying physically active. He loves to bike, run, and swim when he is not on the soccer field. He is in the process of training for his first triathlon.
One of Tammy's passions is cooking. She learned to cook at an early age from her Mom. Tammy enjoyed spending time with her Mom while she cooked dinner or made her infamous tasty sweets. When she is not busy cooking, she loves to search for new recipes and various ways to prepare them. Tammy would love to pass her cooking skills and special Chocolate chip cookie recipe on to her children. Tammy's other passion is teaching. She loves to help children of all ages learn how to solve a math problem, write an essay, or better understand a process. She will soon begin
taking courses to obtain a teaching degree and to someday transfer from her current position to teaching.
