Our bi-cultural marriage really represents our life view. We believe that everyone in
the world has the right to a good life and that each of us is responsible for taking care of one another. We’d feel very fortunate to be able to parent, love and cherish a child. What a loving and self-less act the birth mother has performed by making the choice to provide a nurturing home for her child. We celebrate her bravery and loving vision!

What We’ll Tell Your Child About Their Adoption
Long before we met, both of us thought about adoption. For Debashish, growing up in India and seeing first-hand the tragedy of homelessness and poverty has left not just a lasting impression, but a desire to help those around him. The Hindu faith teaches this as well. Growing up he has many examples of his family reaching out to others to help and assist in any way possible. Family and community are so important.
And for Sue, being a parent has always been important. She can recall thinking about adoption as a single parent, prior to marrying. She remembers thinking back then that as long as she had a way to provide for the welfare of the child, she'd consider it.
Sadly, we have not been blessed with our own child. Initially, difficulty getting pregnant led to infertility treatments without success. Eventually, we decided to stop treatment, and surprisingly, once we stopped treatment, we became pregnant! Although we took great care to have a healthy, successful pregnancy, it was not to be. A mid-term miscarriage occurred and despite further attempts, we were not able to conceive again.
This is when we both began thinking about adoption again. After much soul-searching, we realized that not only do we want to be parents, but that we would be truly proud to be adoptive parents.
We'd like to raise your child with the knowledge that families are formed in so many different ways, and for so many
different reasons. And most importantly, that love was and is always present in our ability to form our family in this
special way.
And we intend to honor the difficult, loving decisions made by the birth mother by sharing this with the child as part of our own special family story.
Our Adventurous Spirits
Mammoth Hot Springs, Yellowstone National Park
Because we both have a little bit of "Indiana Jones" in us and are interested
in world history and archeology , a trip to Egypt to see the Great Pyramids is on our travel to do list, along with Greece and Italy.
Recently, we have been traveling throughout the United States visiting National Parks. Our trips to the Grand Canyon, Yellowstone and Niagara Falls are among the most memorable. Any time we can explore the Great Outdoors, we are happy to do so.
But the adventure doesn't only stop or start with travel…
