![]() Hi! We're Paul & Tammy and we have been in love with each other for more than half our lives. Our struggles with infertility brought us our precious, beautiful daughter, Heidi, whom we adore. We are a military family and love life! Our home is filled with love, warmth, joy and stability and we can't wait for another little baby to hold, cuddle and love! We can guarantee that your child will always know about you and your courageous decision. |

About Tammy, by Paul: Tammy is a warm, loving mother and wife who always puts her family first. She always gives me the bigger slice of pie or the piece of cake that didn't fall upside down on the plate. As a mother, she is kind and patient. As a wife, she has been my moral compass and teacher. She has accepted me for better or for worse and made me want to be a better man. This is her gift and she doesn't even know it. When a problem presents itself, Tammy finds an intelligent and original way to solve it. I am proud to call her my wife and I am lucky to be her husband.
About Paul, by Tammy: Paul is kind, gentle, compassionate, and a fiercely loyal and devoted husband and father. He has my back - always- I never doubt it. We function as one unit seamlessly. Patriotic to the core, he loves his life, country and family and will do whatever is necessary to ensure our happiness and safety. He does what he says he is going to do, and accepts responsibility for his decisions and actions. Integrity is defined as "being willing to do what is right even when no one is looking" - that is Paul summed up in one sentence. I am thankful every single day that he chose me.
Over the last 5 years, our town has become more and more culturally diverse. We are especially pleased about this, since we are pursuing a trans-racial adoption and understand the importance of providing same race friends and role models to your child. We have already expanded our social circle to include other multi-cultural families and seek out culturally diverse events, in order to provide a wide range of cultural experiences to Heidi now, and later with our new baby. We are also members of a yahoo trans-racial parenting group, and plan on attending their events with our children. We look forward to continuing to learn about and share in your child's culture and history.
Our story is an unusual one, one that makes us very proud. We started dating at age 16 after we met in the Air Cadets - a military organization for kids in Canada. Paul had been enrolled for a few years prior to me joining, so he was in charge of my initial training. We were both attracted to each other, but he took the first step calling me on the phone and that was the beginning or our wonderful, happy, full life together! We dated about 5 years before getting married and moving to the United States. Married now for 15 years, we are more in love with each other than ever. We are so thankful he made that call!
