We have been blessed in our lives and we very much want to share everything we have to offer with a child. |

We are young and always on the go!! We love to hang out with our friends and their kids, go to sporting events, and visit with family. We are in a bowling league together and both enjoy golfing. We also love music and concerts. Mostly, we just enjoy spending time together, no matter what we're doing! We are always laughing and entertaining each other. We truly feel like we can tackle the world together and we're having so much fun doing it. A perfect Sunday for us would be hiking around the lake near our house, watching football, and then eating chili and wings. Jim is a Browns fan and Angie is a Steelers fan, so we love giving each other a hard time about our teams!
We're very excited to kick off our adventures in parenting. We're looking forward to play dates with our friends, trips to the park, reading stories at bedtime, t-ball games, and swim lessons ... even the tantrums and dirty diapers! Angie always says, "Every day is an adventure!" and there is nothing we want more than to bring a child into our happy world.
Our favorite vacation spot is a wonderful little island on the Gulf Coast of Florida, called Anna Maria Island. Angie's family has been going there for vacation for 30 years, and her grandparents currently own a condo there. It is a quiet island with private white beaches and perfect for families. It is extremely relaxing because the condo is right on the beach and also has a private pool. We love the peacefulness and the feeling that we truly have escaped and can unwind. We envision going there with our families and all of our nieces and nephews, and planning vacations with our friends and their kids. We want to build sandcastles, hunt for starfish, and lay on the beach and look at the stars with our child.
We want our child to know that their birthparents love them enough to make the very difficult choice of adoption. We are open to an open adoption, if that is what you prefer, because embracing you along with your child will only increase the size of our extended family. We feel there can never be too much love floating around when your child's best interests are everyone's top priority. We have been so blessed, and because of that, we feel strongly about passing that on to others. We want you to be a part of our adventure.
We discussed adoption long before we ever knew infertility would take us down this path. We always knew we both wanted to be parents over anything else in our lives. We feel strongly that adoption is part of open and honest dialogue in our house. We will tell your child about their adoption and their adoption story at a very young age, so it will always be a part of what makes them special. We want them to always know where they came from and how much they are loved by us, their birthparents, and extended family.
