We feel that being parents is probably the most important job anyone can have and we feel blessed that you are considering us for this wonderful opportunity. We will give him/her the best life we possibly can. This child will have their hearts desire. We again want to say thank you for this opportunity. We have prayed for many years to have a child and we have so much love to give. We would be so grateful if you chose us to raise your child.

How Adoption Has Affected Us Personally

Tracy has a cousin who was adopted as an infant. Her aunt adopted him before she knew she was ill. She lived for many years, but died when Mark was only 10 years old. Her husband raised Mark for a few years and decided he could not raise him on his own. Tracy's grandparents took Mark in and raised him until he was grown. He and Tracy's father have a very close relationship. He feels that her dad was more like a father than an uncle to him throughout the years. Mark has been married for over 20 years and has two children in which he and his wife have asked Joe and Tracy to take care of if anything were to happen to them. We feel that through adoption, God will select the child He wants us to raise. We can't wait for this opportunity, and we're anxious to see what all God has in store for us! Mark is very supportive of us in this adoption processand has been encouraging us for quite some time to pursue adoption. He has very good thoughts of his birth parents and says they were doing what was best for him. He is very excited and cannot wait for us to bring home a new baby.

What We’ll Tell Your Child About Their Adoption

We will never keep it a secret from the child that he/she is adopted. We don't plan on having a sit down talk with them at any particular age; it will just be a matter of fact from the very beginning. We will talk casually to them about it throughout their life. We will make sure that they realize that they were a gift to us from their birthparents. We will tell them that their birthparents were gracious enough to entrust us to raise their child since we could not have children of our own. We will hopefully be able to adopt more than one child and they will realize that they are not alone in being adopted. We will tell them that they are extra special because they are loved by two sets of parents when most children only have one.

What We Do for Fun

With Mason at King’s Island Amusement Park, Only a Couple of Hours Away

We love to laugh. We have fun doing almost anything. We mostly like to spend time with family grilling out or going out to a restaurant. We have a great time hanging out with family and friends. We love to get together and play games and watch movies. We love to play cards, Scene-It, Cranium, and numerous other games. We also love to play games with Mason, Joe's son. We play Yahtzee, Clue, Uno, and many other games with him. We also like to jump on the trampoline and go swimming at our relatives' pool. We love a good bike ride in the cooling evenings. Vacations are always a blast, and we try to take at least one a year.
