Family is our utmost priority in life. Decisions we make will always be with the best interest of our family. We love kids so much and want to provide them with a life of opportunity and encouragement. We want them to believe in their dreams and achieve whatever their heart desires.
Diana will tell you she didn't become a parent to put them on the back burner. She became a parent to show them all the love and great beauty the world has to offer. She wants to be there for them every step of the way. Being a school nurse gives her the opportunity to help provide for them, but gives her the ability to be off when they are, and to be there for all their important events, cheering them on.
Tim's highest priority is his family. He will do whatever he can to help the family achieve their dreams and fulfill their wants.
One of the great things about our extended families is that we have cultural diversity. Diana's sister is married to an African American and they have a 4-year-old son who is biracial. They are still expanding their family and live within a few minutes of us. Tim has a cousin who has biracial children also that we see every few years.
Our community is composed of many cultures and is very diverse. Our town is between two military bases, so you see many different cultures in our community.
We want to incorporate some of the birth families culture into our home. At match, we want to get as much input from the birth family as possible. They will know best, what important traditions and values need to be passed on. We will work our hardest to make sure our children don't lose their culture.
Being a parent means that you are ready and able to give love freely to another. It means putting children first in your life and doing everything you can to give them a prosperous life. We like taking on the role of guiding our children through life and sacrifice and meeting the needs of our children.
Diana's favorite part of parenting is cuddling close to our son. Diana believes there is no greater satisfaction in life, than to feel loved. Xavier comes into our room and cuddles with her every morning. Diana feels the greatest amount of love and is heartbroken when it's a weekday and she has to go to work. On the weekend we cuddle together as a family and have a very slow start to our day. We love the connections and the feeling of just being a family.
Tim's favorite part of being a parent is watching our son grow and learn. Tim likes watching Xavier learn new things for the first time or to finally do something on his own. Tim likes to be part of the learning with our son.
