Our Family

Jack has two sons from a previous marriage. His youngest son, Hunter is in the first grade. We share joint custody of Hunter with his birth mother. Hunter is a very energetic and outgoing little boy. He loves playing baseball and enjoys swinging on his swing set in the backyard. He also has a great love for animals. Jack's oldest son Anthony is a senior in high school and will graduate in the Spring of 2007. He currently lives with his birth mother full time and plans to attend a local community college in the fall. Both boys are excited about getting another sibling, especially Hunter since he will now get to be a big brother. Hunter says he wants to help out more around the house when the new baby arrives so Michelle will have more free time to care for the baby. Family is our number one priority. We love to spend time together. Our evenings are spent making dinner and helping Hunter with his homework. We feel it is important to sit down each night at the dinner table as a family and be able to talk about that day's events. We look forward to sharing our lives with your child as well. We have lots of love to offer another child.

Leisure Time Pursuits

Our lives are very active. Jack likes to play softball. He has been playing with the same group for over ten years now. He fishes when he can. His main activity is writing, which he does in his spare time. He writes poetry and short stories. Michelle enjoys reading, swimming and watching Jack and Hunter play sports. She also likes to experiment with making homemade teas by grinding different herbs and sampling their taste. Most recently she has been very busy preparing for the baby girl we hope to have very soon. We are active in our son's baseball and school events. Jack is Hunter's coach and Michelle assists the team mom in preparing the schedules. We enjoy going to the beach during the summer months. We have a nice sized yard where we all spend a lot of time tending to the various plants and flowers we have planted. We get together with our best friends, Chris and Kim at least once a month to have dinner and watch movies. They have a baby girl and we look forward to their daughter growing up with your child and being friends and having lots of future play dates. We can't wait to involve your child in every part of our lives.

Why Our Pets Are Important To Us

Hunter with Our Dog, Sebastian

We have a number of pets. We have 3 cats, a dog, a bunny and a tank full of fish. We love pets and believe it is important for our children and yours to be involved with them. They help the children learn some responsibility, even at a young age. The children learn how to be gentle and kind. The animals are also part of our family, so we care for and love them the same as we do each other. The animals are our friends and we spend a lot of time interacting with them. We even have one cat that is deaf. This makes his meow a little off but otherwise he functions the same as the other cats do. This has helped instill an important lesson in Hunter. He understands that the cat's handicap doesn't stop him from anything the other cats do. We definitely enjoy having the pets around and look forward to your child meeting them too.
