Bridges in life are so often built to connect over a gap to continue forward to a destination. We have been on a lifetime destination of a loving relationship but we have encountered a gap for which we need a bridge. The gap is the inability to have a child, which we so desperately wish to love and love and love. The bridge to our dream, we hope, is you.

It has been a long sought after dream to become parents. We have tried for many years to have children and unfortunately have not been able to. We both feel strongly that God is leading us in other directions. Perhaps to be the parents of your child whom we know you must love so very much. We have kind and caring hearts and it would mean the world to us to have a child to share our lives with; an answer to our prayers. We have been around children all our lives and enjoy nothing more then being able to share our love with them. Having worked as a babysitter, been around children of family and friends and serving as a mentor for a troubled teenager attending a disciplined military based academy has been fulfilling to René and reconfirmed her desire to have children in her life. Greg too has been around children all of his life. He has many nieces and nephews, neighborhood children, our friends' children and children from our church that love and respect him. Whether it is playing games, sports, taking them fishing, hunting or reading them a good book he is a natural born parent figure. Greg spent six years serving as a D.A.R.E. officer and enjoyed working with these students immensely.

Being able to share ourselves with the children that are in our lives and help teach the everyday responsibilities of life and what they need to become strong citizens is very rewarding for both of us. We are looking forward to wrapping our arms around your child and embracing them with the kind of love, affection, security, self-worth and positive and rewarding experiences that you alone would want to give to them if you could. We know you love your child by the caring actions you are taking to select just the right parents. We will take the love you have for your child and do the very best job we can and assure you he/she will always feel in their hearts the love you have for them.

We both feel very strongly that every person deserves the right to receive a high quality education if they so choose. We as parents would devote numerous hours each and every day to your child, to ensure that they build, strengthen and utilize their learning potential and skills. Both of us know the importance a quality education could have on a child's life. We would help your child achieve whatever goals he or she set and would instill into him/her the important role a quality education would play in helping him/her in obtaining their goals. We would devote whatever time was necessary to help your child with their daily studies and homework. We feel that the school system in our area has the elements required to help your child receive the best possible education. We would encourage your child to have fun and be a child, participate in sports if they choose and extra curricular activities but also keep a good grasp on the fact that an education is just as important as having fun. We would try to find ways to incorporate both into your child's life, because if they have fun learning then they will learn more. We would encourage your child to seek an education after high school by attending a college or university and help them in whatever way possible, and support them however we could, in that endeavor.

Christmas Time with Our Dog Casey

We believe pets are a very important part of family, and that is just what ours is; family. Our dog Casey has brought an immeasurable amount of joy and love to our lives. He is more like a child to us than just a mere pet, and he is spoiled just as if he were our child. Casey is a 12-year-old fox terrier. René got Casey when he was about six weeks old. When we met Casey was a year and a half old. Greg quickly realized that Casey and René were a package deal. The theme of our relationship quickly became "Love me, Love my dog." As it turned out Greg had no problem with that and he and Casey immediately became the best of friends. It quickly became apparent that Greg had as much fondness for René’s dog as she did and Casey felt the same. Now Greg cannot go anywhere without Casey following close behind. Everyday when we return home we are greeted with the same level of love, excitement, and enthusiasm and there has never been a dull moment with Casey around. We feel that it is very important to give animals the same type of care and respect that anyone else would expect. We both also feel that it is very important that a child have interaction with a family pet to teach them responsibility and care. These are lessons we feel would remain with them the rest of their lives.
