We share many of the same individual strengths. We both have very calm and cool personalities. We stay calm in most any situation. We also are both very driven. We work very hard at whatever task is put before us. Neither of us was ever the smartest, strongest, or fastest, but our hard work made up the difference for success. We plan to pass this work ethic along to our children. Where we differ is in our backgrounds. Jeff handles all the mechanical things and projects around the house. Jeanne handles the finances and medical issues. We are both very organized, good at planning and good communicators. These qualities help to keep our household stable and our relationship strong. We know our strengths will carry over and be an asset to us as parents.

We are both college educated and plan to offer the same opportunities to our children. We both worked before and during college to understand the benefits of an education. We have a plan to provide for the finances that will be needed for a child's education, so we can ensure they are able to do whatever they want to do. We have very different training and careers, and we understand that each person has to find what they are happy with and enjoy. Regardless of field of study and career choice, working hard and being satisfied at the end of the day will lead to success.

Jeff and Jeanne are very active. Jeanne does cave exploration, rappelling, and rock climbing. Jeanne has been a caver for over 10 years and has also taken part in several cave rescues due to her Paramedic training. She has done climbing and rappelling for over 17 years and has trained the local emergency agencies for rescues where ropes would be needed. Jeff enjoys kayaking, running and working on cars. Jeff has kayaked for over 5 years visiting rivers in several states. Jeff has also been a runner since high school and has completed marathons and triathlons. Jeff loves to tinker with our old Mustang before cruising as well as the Corvette he takes for more spirited rides. Most of these activities are high energy, but we also enjoy movie time together or sitting on the porch watching the golfers. We each had fun activities before we met, and we now share them together.
