We are both very big sports fans. We look forward to sharing our love of sports with a child. We would take a child to baseball, football, basketball, and hockey games. We have season tickets to the Arizona Cardinals football games. Before every football game we tail gate with family and friends, cook out and play games.

The two of us also love to play board / card games. We would teach your child how to play games and hopefully he or she would even teach us a few games! Ben loves watching, playing, and coaching sports. He would share his love of sports with your child, whether its football, basketball, baseball, or golf.

Lisa loves scrapbooking and making cards. She would take many pictures of your child and then scrapbook them in an album just for him or her. She would show your child how to make cards and then help him or her make cards for family and friends, especially grandparents!

We can't wait to support a child in their hobbies and activities he or she chooses. We look forward to learning more things with them. Most importantly we look forward to supporting your child in their interests whatever they may be and participating in whatever passions they may have.

Our favorite vacation spot is San Diego, California. We have been vacationing in Mission Beach, San Diego for the past six summers. Every summer we rent a beach house. We always go on the week of July 8th to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Both of our families go with us. We hang out at the beach, boogie board, go to Sea World, barbeque, sit around fire pits making s'mores, and shop a lot! As the years have gone by more of our family and friends have joined us for this summer vacation. We cannot wait to experience our vacation spot with a child!

Our Dogs
Roxy and Chloe

We have two dogs, both Labrador Retrievers. The oldest is Roxy, she is seven. The other is Chloe, she is four. Our dogs are important to us because they are our family. Getting Roxy was a big decision for us. We got her when we were dating and not living together. She would stay at Ben's for a week and then Lisa's for a week. Roxy's attitude is just like Ben's. She's very relaxed easy going and loves to take naps and eat! We decided to get Chloe because we felt Roxy needed a friend and someone to play with! Chloe is just like Lisa, full of energy and always on the go. She's ready to go anywhere at any time. They are both very good with children, allowing the children to pull their tails, give them hugs, and chase them around the house.

They are also important to us because they are always happy to see us. It is comforting for us when we come home after a busy or hectic day and both dogs are waiting for us at the door, wagging their tails, excited we are home. We love to take them for walks, play tug of war, and swim in the pool with them! They can make a bad day turn into a great day!
