As parents we will provide a loving and supportive environment filled with love and laughter. We really cannot wait to be able to share with them the home we had built out of hard work and dedication, but most importantly Love. We believe education is very important and will support and encourage your child to study whatever he/she wishes and will back them throughout any decisions they make throughout life's journey.

What We’ll Tell Your Child About His/Her Adoption

We would tell your child as much information as we can about their adoption to the best of our knowledge. We would be open and honest as soon as they are able to understand and continue to answer any questions they may have throughout their life. We would especially let them know how much of a special part of our lives they have become and how they have filled our hearts with joy and love from the moment we first met. We make sure he/she realizes how grateful we are to have them become a part of us and our life and that this would never change for the rest of their life. We would also make sure they understand what a HUGE, HUGE sacrifice you had made out of the love for your child and the kindness of your heart to make sure they were brought up in a very loving and caring home and that the decision you had made was in the best interests for him/her.

What We Do for Fun

We both love the outdoors. Fortunately that is right in our backyard. We have some land that keeps us busy doing what we love to do. In the spring there are many flowers and plants to be planted throughout our yard and every year we usually are adding more and more. It is great that this is something we both enjoy doing because it would be overwhelming for just one of us to maintain.

Every season we have something different we like to do. In the summer months we take advantage of the many lakes around our area to use our boat on the weekends. We also enjoy camping this time of year with our dogs, Buttons and Chewy. They love to go and as soon as they see us packing up the Motor Home they know something is gong on and will not leave our sides. We also host parties at our house where friends and families get to come over with their children to play volley ball and enjoy the hot tub and creek. This is even when the dogs get to have fun. Buttons and Chewy love having their friends over to play ball. It is always fun to see who is going to bring the ball back first. The big dogs enjoy the creek too but we don't allow them to swim in the hot tub no matter how hard they try.

Always topping off the summer is our annual trip to the beach. Our family and friends get together to enjoy one last hoorah before summer is over. The kids are usually upset because they know school is starting soon but once they see the ocean, school is the last thing on their minds.

In the fall when it cools off a little we enjoy riding our ATV, (All Terrain Vehicle), with family and friends. This is always a nice time of year since where we live the leaves are changing colors and the surroundings look awesome. Going on our rides is a lot of fun and we look forward to them always. We do however use our ATV all year long around the house.

When the snow starts flying in the winter we take advantage of the snowmobiles. In the area we live we get to ride down the back roads to the different farms that are not accessible to us without the snow. Our nieces and nephews especially enjoy this time of year and are always calling to come over when they see snow is in the forecast. This also is the time when we get to decorate our home with all of the Christmas decorations we have acquired throughout the years. There is a lot to set up and this is also a team effort, but we both love to do it.

Our Pets

Buttons & Chewy at Christmas

Our pets are a special part of both our lives. We have two dogs, Buttons (female) and Chewy (male). Buttons is a Shitzu/Maltese mix and Chewy is a Golden Retriever. They are both extremely loveable big babies. Our little one, Buttons, is our first dog. She is a lap dog, but sometimes she thinks she is bigger than she actually is. Every Sunday she goes for her ride to the store with us for the newspaper and even though it is only a mile away the ride usually wears her out for the rest of the day. She acts like such a princess.

Chewy is the big brother even though he is younger. We were very lucky to get a dog so nice that gets along with Buttons so well. He always wants our attention and looks to have someone pet him or for someone to throw his tennis ball for him. If he can't find a ball he will be sure to go to the woods and find a stick that will do the job. One place you can't keep him out of is the creek that runs through our property. We really never saw a dog that likes water so much, no matter what time of year. We actually had to buy a pool for him for when we visit our friends in the summer so he can still get wet. It was either that or he was going to keep climbing in the cooler. When we go camping he is the one that always sits in the passenger seat of the Motor Home and Buttons usually sits on Rob's lap, now we know why they call them lap dogs.

When one of us is not at home the two of them lay on the sidewalk staring down the driveway until whoever is not home gets home. It is a great feeling seeing how excited they are to see you when you get there. We can not imagine our home without them and seeing them interact with our nieces and nephews lets us know that they both get along with babies and children. This is of great reassurance to us since we could not imagine our home without them. Both are loved greatly and have lots of friends.
