Yes, Adoption has changed our personalities for the better. It has put a light back in our eyes and in our lives. We have been going through infertility for 6 years and it has been hopeful but unsuccessful. Deciding to adopt and become adoptive parents has put so much hope and joy back in our lives. Going through the adoption process so far has been a learning experience for the both of us. Our hopes of starting a family started again when we decided to adopt. We have friends that adopted a beautiful little boy and seeing their joy has made us so optimistic about adopting and becoming parents. Starting a family is the most important thing to us. The thoughts and dreams we have all include having children in our lives and in our home. These dreams have been swirling around in our heads for many years. The thought that our dream of having a child could come true is very exciting for family, our friends and us.

We met through friends that seemed to know that we were perfect for each other before we did. Neither of us wanted to meet the other person due to the fact that we had been in failed relationships. We decided to meet on a friendship basis only. The first thing we said to each other was that we weren’t looking to get married, just someone to go out with and enjoy spending time with. We went out on a double date that seemed to go pretty well. We went on a couple of more double dates and conversation seemed to flow very easily. Kevin was the one with the sense of humor and Kimberly was the optimistic one. We talked on the phone for another week or so before we decided to meet again. We went to the beach a lot and to plane shows and spent a lot of time together as friends before we decided to make our relationship more serious. We dated for 2 years before we got engaged and planned our wedding for 2 years. We had a beautiful wedding with lots of friends and family members. We went to Disney World in Florida for our honeymoon. We’ve been together for 11 years now and have been married for almost 7 years.

Family would be our passion and raising children. We grew up in households with brothers & sisters and we were taught that family was the most important thing. Our parents instilled in us the importance of family. We want nothing more in the world than to become parents. We have wonderful parents that have taught us great family values. Our families are full of great people with some small children and friends that we have had since childhood. We would be loving parents and we would put the child first always. We love children and hope that someday we will have a child to raise in our home to share these family values and traditions with. Kevin’s passion is to keep himself busy he loves to work with his hands. He loves to work in our yard whether it’s planting flowers or starting a garden. Our yard always looks immaculate. He also likes to work on projects around the house, building shelves and rebuilding an old tractor that his grandfather owned. Kimberly likes to spend time with family and friends. One of her passions is her two dogs that she loves very much. She takes very good care of her dogs and considers them part of the family. They love to go with her wherever she goes. She also likes music and going to the movies. She has the gift to gab.
