From the very beginning your child will know the story of their adoption. Their story will always be told in a positive, loving way. They will be assured of your love, compassion, thoughtfulness, and strength in making the decision for them to be adopted. They will be told of our journey and how lucky we are for you to have chosen us as their parents. We will discuss adoption openly and support them through any difficult issues that might arise. We want them to know as much as possible about you and your family and how you came to be a part of our lives. We have already been discussing keeping an adoption memory book for them so we can show them all about where they came from and how they got to be part of our family through adoption.

Diapers, bottles, singing songs, bedtime stories, reading books, wiping away the tears, hugs and kisses, laughing, playing games, learning ABC's, first day of school, homework, high school graduation, first day of college, and their wedding day all these things are what we look forward to as parents. What we expect to look forward to the most though is sharing our love for each other and our families with a child. Family is our FIRST priority. We show love by the way we treat each other and the sacrifices we make for each other. What we will like most about being parents is seeing your child grow and learn. Growing physically of course will be a joy but also growing into a well rounded and respectable person. A person, who strives to do their best, works hard and doesn't give up on their goals, is dependable, and can be a positive contributor to the world around them. We look forward to seeing your child learn how to love others, learn to show compassion for others, and be able to express their love in a healthy way. We know not all of being a parent is good but we expect to even enjoy the bad with the good as parents of your child.

Vacationing in the Smokey Mountains

Our lifestyle could be described as laid back and can be seen in the things that we enjoy doing. We enjoy spending time with family and friends as well as alone together. Getting together with friends and family for holidays and special occasions is one of our favorite things to do. We recently had a family get together at the lake. There were 35 members of our family and friends there where we grilled hamburgers and hotdogs, went swimming, watched the fireworks, played corn hole, and road the pontoon boat and jet skis. We have many fond memories with friends and family. Our relationship is very easy going and we have fun together as well. We like going to the movies, out to dinner, gardening, and watching TV. We like shopping together whether it's for groceries, clothes or whatever. We like to sit out on the patio and watch the kittens play and the hummingbirds eat. We like to watch the sunsets from our front yard and the cows grazing in the pasture. We like the simple things in life and take pride in our relaxed country lifestyle. We also enjoy traveling to the beach, lake, mountains or anywhere we haven't been before with our extended family and look forward to adding another traveler very soon.
