| How Adoption Has Affected Our Lives |
Greg and Niece Mayah at Christmas
Adoption has personally affected our lives. Greg's niece, Mayah, is adopted. She is a true delight at family gatherings. She lights up the room and is a special part of our lives. Everyone's love for her has become immeasurable instantly. She loves Uncle "Egg" and Aunt Tammy.
We also have close friends that have adopted from other countries. One couple adopted a girl from China and another couple adopted a boy from Russia. They both have been very well received and accepted in our community. Over the years our community has become very diverse in culture and ethnicity. People do not see a different color of skin or a different race; just a sweet and loving child. We also attend church with many biracial and transracial children.
We have seen how much love and joy all these children have brought to their families. They fill the homes of their families with so much love and happiness. We would be truly honored and overjoyed to have the same opportunity to love and care for your child.
Remus
We both grew up with a love for animals. All of our animals were rescued. Our two dogs, Remus and Peaches, were both abandoned on the job where Greg works. They are both very special to us and they know they have a permanent home. We enjoy helping find homes for abandoned animals and knowing they won't be alone. Tammy has a cousin who takes in abandoned and neglected horses to find them new homes. Our beautiful cat, Patches, was rescued from a parking lot when she was only three weeks old. She was suffering from heat exhaustion. She's happy and healthy now! She knows she has a loving family that will always care for her.

Our Favorite Place
Our favorite vacation spot is Las Vegas. We both enjoy the sunshine, lights, shows, and fabulous food. We love to lounge around the pool all day and when the sun goes down, eat a wonderful dinner and see a delightful show. Tammy enjoys all the outlet shopping and is always bargain hunting. Greg enjoys meeting people from other countries and other parts of the United States. He also enjoys the beautiful architectural elements of all the hotels and extraordinary buildings. We have many other travel destinations planned. So much to do, so little time! |
