We are Renée, Larry and Elizabeth. We would like to thank you for taking the time to
consider us as adoptive parents and family for your child. We greatly admire the courage it took to give your baby the gift of life and your selflessness in considering an adoption plan. You are giving the greatest gift to couples like us who long for a family and are unable to make that happen on our own. Should you choose our family to adopt your child, we promise that our lives will be devoted to providing a loving, nurturing and safe home that will allow your child to grow and flourish.

What it Means to Be Parents and Our Strengths
Parenthood is the fulfillment of a lifetime dream for both of us. It is the most challenging responsibility we could ever have but we believe it also to be the most rewarding. We fully share life as a family from taking care of Elizabeth, and our home, to our daily experiences, trips and activities. Though we tend to spoil Elizabeth every now and then, our every minute as parents is spent nurturing her. Our commitment to her and to your child is to be sure that they understand the importance of love, self confidence, respect, and responsibility. Our strength comes from our commitment to work through all issues together as a family no matter how large or small, our daily promise to keeping love, warmth, and laughter in our home, and our patience to understand that boundaries need to be set positively and consistently but with room to grow. Children, starting at a young age, must be respected and allowed to make choices for themselves to be able to mature into responsible adults. We recognize that raising a child and nurturing a family is our most important gift and we know in our hearts that we are good parents.
Education
We specifically chose a community that has a top-ranked school system. Besides the formal scholastic education that our community can provide, we plan to introduce a child to everything that we possibly can so he/she can develop interests, hobbies and passions. We will reinforce the importance of education and provide encouragement and financial support so your child can pursue higher education to be best prepared to fulfill their dreams. Children in our home will learn the self confidence to respect themselves and others, and how to be a positive role model in society.
Our Leisure Time
Kayaking Off Bar Harbor
We have many interests and enjoy doing all things together as a family. In the warmer months, we enjoy taking Elizabeth to the local playground, an amusement park, the Zoo, and Aquarium. We also enjoy hiking, kayaking and hanging out on our deck. Prior to Elizabeth, we enjoyed driving into New York City and taking in a play, finding a new restaurant, or going back to the ones we like. In the colder months, we enjoy curling up with the cats and a good book or watching movies. We enjoy reading to and playing with Elizabeth on a daily basis. We also make it a point to chronicle Elizabeth's milestones and moments through video, still photography, and a journal that Renée has lovingly kept with frequent entries of activities and achievements. We fully intend to continue these traditions with your child. We always look forward to getting together with friends in someone's backyard, meeting up with our Birthday group for dinner, or planning
a holiday function. Our Birthday group is about 8 of our closest friends that get together for every occasion especially birthdays. This group also participates in volunteer activities.
