What Made Us Who We Are Today

Since we have been together since we were kids, we grew up together as a bi-racial couple who have strong values. By growing up together and going through life struggles together, we have learned to use each other's strengths when we need it and how to support each other when we are struggling. Raising our children is what made us experience so many new things in life. There are constant ideas from our children on what might be fun to do and how life is viewed in their eyes. By growing up together and mentoring our kids as they grow up, we are more open minded to try new things and really look at different life events using all four of our views, not just one personal view. One major factor in making us who we are today is how we went from living in poverty when we were young and being strong enough and dedicated enough to raise ourselves out of poverty so we could better provide for our children. We appreciate life more and never take the things we have or are able to get for granted.

Our Lifestyle

Our life style is everything we want in life because of who we are, not what we have. We do not take anything we have for granted, so having a nice house with a pool and going on two or three vacations a year is wonderful, but appreciated by the strong work it takes by all of us. Although we try to buy the nicest clothes for our kids and love to by them the latest "cool" stuff, we always ensure they are thankful and know how lucky they are to have everything they get. We do not judge others on appearance, wealth, race, or environment. Our kids know the values of anyone are what they do as a person, not what they have and how much they can or cannot show off their material possessions. We have a nice lifestyle where we can enjoy most things in life we want and be able to save money for our children's college and our retirement. We love to go places and have fun experiencing sight seeing all over the east coast. We feel it is important to work hard and to enjoy life to its fullest. We are thankful every day for what we have but more importantly we are thankful for who we are and who we have in our lives.

Our Favorite Vacation Spot

At Disney’s Magic Fountain

Our single favorite vacation spot is hands-down, no contest WALT DISNEY WORLD. We have been to Disney four times already and have another trip planned for next year. We have made it our family tradition to go to Disney every other year. We all seem to act like kids and feel miles away from reality. The memories we create when on vacations are almost daily conversations all year round. Then we discuss all the different things we can do next time and write them down so we don't forget. Disney is all over our house, from clothes to pictures, to room and holiday decorations, and even constant Disney gifts to other family members. We stay at a different resort every time we go and eat as many meals where they have Disney characters so we can get autographs and pictures. No matter how many times we go Disney will be a family tradition for all of us that we hope will pass down to our grandchildren and great grandchildren as well.
