Thank you so much for considering us as parents for your child. We are so excited to embark on this journey of becoming parents through adoption. We want nothing more than to share our love, life and laughter with a child. We have longed to be parents since we were married five years ago. We have tried unsuccessfully to conceive a child and came to the realization that God has other plans for us to become parents. We have since begun this process of adoption.

Becoming Parents and What We Look Forward to Sharing with a Child
Where do we begin?! We are both so excited at every aspect of parenthood. We can't wait to teach this child how to tie his/her shoes or ride a bike. We are looking forward to the first day of school and helping with homework and kissing a knee with a scrape. There is not one thing that we are not looking forward too. We know parenting has challenging days as with any job, but even those days we gladly welcome and are eagerly awaiting! We both look forward to watching this amazing gift from God growing up and becoming an individual with his/her own thoughts and interests and mark on this world.
We both look forward to sharing all the love in our hearts with this child. We also look forward to sharing our love of music and playing instruments. We think it will be a lot of fun to teach this child how to swim and to try out different sports that may interest your child. We look forward to sharing cooking time and baking and decorating cookies and decorating the Christmas tree and making snowmen and having snowball fights. We look forward to sledding and teaching this child about growing things like tomatoes and other foods. We also look forward to playing games such as bingo and old maid and chutes and ladders.
What We Do for Fun
Both of us enjoy whatever leisure time we have being together. We enjoy walks bike rides, and grill outs (especially with family and friends). We also love to go swimming during the summer and look forward to sharing these things with a child. We also enjoy snowmobiling, cross-country skiing and traveling. Some of our favorite destinations have been Hawaii, Mexico, and Las Vegas. We also love going to movies and visiting with friends and family. Jesse especially loves music and playing guitar. He plays both acoustic and electric and often performs at one of our local coffee shops with his dad who also sings and plays guitar. Betsy enjoys scrap-booking, reading, cooking and having gatherings with those we love. Both of us also love watching our niece and nephews and jump at the opportunity as often as we can.
Our Dogs
Our Brady Bunch 6
One of our favorite things to do is, play with our 6 dogs. Their names are, Wilson, Reggie, Charlie, Mitzi, Hollie and Lillie. They are a fun and laid back bunch. We call them the Brady bunch because we have three girls and three boys, three white and three brown dogs. They all love kids and are very gentle with them. These are our furry kids. We started out with the boys and when Betsy's mother passed away she didn't have the heart to find the girls new homes, so they became a part of our family. They all get along very well and they listen wonderfully. We had a room of our home made into a kennel for them so they have lots of room to rest at night time and be in, in the day when we are not home. They love to cuddle and play fetch and are always eager for a treat! That is by far their favorite word. We both feel that dogs add so much to our lives and they can teach a lot of lessons too especially for kids.
