Parenting is the most challenging and rewarding job we have ever had. We believe that raising children is our most important responsibility. We were blessed with the opportunity to adopt our daughter, Jillian Marie in March of 2007 and we are now ready to continue to build our family. We eagerly await the sound of additional tiny footsteps and the laughter of siblings playing in our home.

We both agree that patience, love, compassion and trust are important attributes of effective parents. We work hard everyday to be a good role model for Jillian. We believe that the greatest gifts that we can give to our children are self-confidence and unconditional love. Our children will understand that we will always love them and we will always be there for them. Creating a strong family bond while being part of a happy and close family will give our children an opportunity to grow and blossom~ this is what we have experienced with our own families and what we plan to pass down to our children.

We have family dinners every night as a time to reflect on the day and bring our family together. We plan to share our passion for travel and will expose our children to far away places with foreign cultures and customs. We place a high priority on education and will seek the best academic environment for our children. We give our heart and soul to Jillian and plan to do the same for our next child.

Family values are a priority and major focus in our lives. We will strive to enrich the lives of our children morally, ethically, and intellectually while always making time for fun. We strongly believe that there is another child waiting to join our family and to share our unconditional love.

Jillian Loves to Play with Her Ball

Hi, my name is Jillian Marie and I'm seventeen months old (8/08). I live in a fun neighborhood where there are a lot of other girls and boys my age to play with. I love to go to the park, music class and play groups with my friends. My favorite activity is playing with my ball in the back yard. On the weekends, mommy and daddy take me for long walks around our neighborhood. In the summer we go to grandma's house near the beach where I get to dig and play in the sand. I always have fun with mommy and daddy…mommy reads me my favorite books and daddy pushes me around the house in my scooter. We laugh so much that my tummy hurts. All of this is going to be so much more fun with a new brother or sister. I can't wait to share the love and laughter in our house with him/her.
