Qualities We Love, Admire and Respect in Each Other

About Billy - Billy has always been my rock and has so many strengths; he is sensitive, compassionate, and affectionate. He never holds grudges and puts a smile on my face at least 10 times a day. Family is very important to him and I really love that trait. When he is around children his face lights up and it's like he's a kid again. Billy has an amazing sense of humor and I love that we can be silly together and just be ourselves. He loves to cook and is great around the house. He truly is my perfect man and the love of my life!

About Mena - Mena has been my main strength throughout our lives together. Her beauty is what initially attracted me to her, but it was and still is her inner beauty that stole my heart. Mena is a very strong, compassionate, and outgoing person. It is precisely these traits that give me the utmost confidence that she will be an amazing mother. Children are drawn to her and she is drawn to them. She shows strong motherly instincts with all kids. Knowing that we can't have biological children has not stopped her in her dream of having a family.

What We Expect We’ll Like Most About Being Parents

We've talked about being parents for so long and there are so many things we look forward to. We have a nephew who is 2 years old and is the light of our life. It is so exciting to watch him grow into the man he will become. Everything he does, like his first step, first word, or to hear him laugh, all these things bring us joy. We can only imagine what joy it will be with our own child. We believe it will be rewarding to help shape a child's mind and teach them about life. We know we will learn from them as well. Billy loves sports and is excited to play catch and teach him/her all he knows about sports. Another thing we love to do is go to Disney World. We love seeing the looks on the faces of the children and seeing their smiles and how excited they get, giving us this energy and happiness that is indescribable. It will be a dream to go to Disney World as a family. Mena has family in Italy and has been visiting since she was a baby. We can’t wait to go there and introduce them to our family. We guess what we are trying to say is that it is not just one thing in particular that we will like about being parents. There are so many things that define being a parent and we are excited and ready for every single experience.

Our Pets Are Important to Us

Billy, Mena, Mia and Casey
Mia and Casey are our babies. Well they are our dogs; but are part of the family. We got our first dog Mia the first year we were married when we lived in Florida for 6 months. She is a 5 year old Yorkshire terrier. You can tell she is a Florida dog because she absolutely hates the cold and won't step out into the snow. We call her Princess Mia because she is so spoiled and loves it. She is very timid but loves to give kisses. Casey is our 4 year old Peka Pooh. She is the complete opposite of Mia. She loves to pounce around in the snow and loves to be cuddled like a stuffed animal. She has an under bite which is the cutest thing ever! We treat our dogs like our children. They love going out with us for walks and our families always include them in family dinners and holidays. They even have their own stockings that we fill with toys on Christmas. Mia and Casey get along so well, like sisters. They play tug a war with each other and love being around children. We know they will love having a new addition to our family.
