We have a funny but very dear story of how we met. We were in third grade and it was Jason's first day. He found it entertaining to make fun of Teresa's last name-which she didn't find so entertaining-so KA-WHAM!-she hit him in the face and the fight was on! We lived 2 miles from each other and we both had the same school and neighborhood friends and we were on and off "boyfriend and girlfriend" throughout grade school. During High school we had different classes and friends so our paths didn't cross much but we still cared for one another. It was about a year after high school that we started hanging out as friends, then began dating, got engaged, and then married. We believe we are fortunate to have grown up together and share many of the same memories.

Jason is an honest and loyal person. He is dependable and willing to help out at a moment's notice. He is a very hard worker at his job and around the house. He easily makes people laugh and his laugh is infectious. He plays with children and they love playing with him as well. He is easy going and likes to have a good time. He has a positive personality and has an optimistic outlook. He is an affectionate and loving husband who is respectful of his wife. Teresa is caring and has a big heart, easily forgives and is loyal. She has a motherly way with children. She is fair and always tries to include everyone. She is a planner and organizer, persistent and completes what she starts. She is responsible but not afraid to act silly and have fun. She is deeply devoted to her family.

Before we got married we received advice to exchange letters about what we each expected a marriage to be and we try to live by that. We feel that marriage is a life long commitment and partnership, and we strive to keep God first in our relationship. We definitely practice teamwork in everything we do. We listen and communicate well with one another and value one another's opinion (though we may not always agree with it!), this is why our marriage is full of compromises. Both of us are stubborn (not always admirable), but we both can say we're sorry. Friendship is the foundation of our marriage-we are each other's best friend.

With Shugie and Cat

We enjoy playing golf either with family and friends, or as a nice time to spend with just each other. We both like being outside, whether it be working around our home or playing with Shugie (our dog) and Cat (yes, you guessed it, our cat). When we are out and about, we like to drive down different roads we have never been down before. We frequently ride bikes together (slowly because Shugie is a little out of shape). We also enjoy get-togethers with family and friends to eat, visit, play games or just relax. On nice nights, we like to sit in our rocking chairs on our front porch looking at the stars, listening to the frogs and talk about our day.
