We are so excited to become parents and will cherish every moment big or small. We feel being a parent is one of the most important and rewarding experiences there is in life. Through the pain of infertility and a lost pregnancy, we have realized more than ever how much we want to be parents and how we will not take anything for granted. We cannot wait for all of the "first experiences", the first birthday, the first tooth, the first words and even the first day of school. We cannot wait to push your child in a swing, bake cookies, dress up for Halloween and cut out pumpkins, attend school plays and sports events, plant a garden and have beautiful Christmas mornings. We also cannot wait to travel with your child and bring him or her to Disney World for the first time.

We will focus on family, obtaining a good education, good moral values and providing your child with unconditional love. We will nurture his or her individuality in order to raise a confident and caring person. We would like for your child to know the best things in life while at the same time have a respect for those in need and for those who are not as fortunate. We will talk about adoption at a very young age and will be supportive and understanding and focus on how this decision was made with love. Your child will always have a friend to talk to because our close friends have recently adopted a beautiful little boy. They live close by and we see them often. He is developing into a fantastic, loving child and we cannot wait to have "play dates" together.

We love to travel and our favorite vacation spot is St. John in the Virgin Islands. We have been going to the Virgin Islands for almost ten years and truly enjoy the time we get to spend there. We rent a jeep and explore the islands tropical foliage, wild animals, beautiful beaches and untouched wilderness. We especially like to hike from the mountains to the beach and enjoy the local bands. We also love to snorkel, go swimming and watch the gorgeous sunset-we always have a magical experience while we are there.

In addition to going to St. John yearly, we recently purchased a condominium in the Bahamas. We also love the Bahamas for its culture, music, food, beauty and enjoy spending time there as well.

We have also traveled to Ireland, California, Arizona, Florida, Vermont, Mexico and various other Caribbean islands and anticipate a trip to Italy and Greece in the near future. We look forward to sharing this love of travel and culture with a child and cannot wait to bring him or her on our next trip.

In addition to traveling, we also like to be home and enjoy the time we get to spend there. We look forward to spending a weekend night at home with the dog renting a movie. Tom loves to cook and I love to clean and decorate our home. We also love to take walks with our dog, Zena around a nearby lake. We have had Zena since she was eight weeks old and truly love her. She is fantastic with children, as she has grown up with our nieces and nephew.

Tom loves karate and goes to classes two times a week. Linda loves walking and hiking and is eager to try yoga. We also enjoy going to flea markets and trying new restaurants.

The weekends are also filled with spending time with our nieces, nephews and god -children. We love going to the zoo, the park and the movies. We also love being called "Auntie Linda and Uncle Tom."
