Haley is a wonderful and loving person. She is constantly giving of herself to her friends and family. She is especially kind to others and never meets a stranger. One of the things that I love most about her is her enthusiastic nature. She is full of enthusiasm and passion when she is involved with something she really cares about. I really love that about her! Haley is also great at taking care of others. If anyone around us is in need she is always there to take care of them.

One of the first characteristics that attracted me to Michael is his humor. He lights up a room and often has people laughing to tears. He can always make me smile and we tend to find ourselves cracking up at the silliest things. This is extremely evident with children. Michael has always been a natural with kids and children always take to him immediately. Michael takes such joy in making kids laugh and it is always so much fun to watch them play. Michael is also an extremely caring and sensitive person. He is such a good caretaker and is not afraid to show emotion, even though he is outwardly strong. Michael will always provide for our family and wants nothing more than to have a happy home with those he loves around him.

Education is valued in our families and will continue as we raise the child. From the start we will create an environment where we are constantly learning and growing together. We will read together often, from the time the child is a baby and as he/she is learning to read on their own. We will support the child in school and advocate good grades. We will be very involved in his/her learning and schooling and when the time comes, encourage him/her to go to college so they can explore what they want to do in life. Books and studies are extremely important but we also feel that a well rounded education comes from exploration, imagination, and worldly experiences.

In general, we lead a peaceful yet eventful life. We surround ourselves with family and friends and have frequent get-togethers on weekends and holidays. Our door is always open and our home often becomes a central gathering place for most of our events. Our family is known to find excuses to get together, whether it be a surprise birthday party, traditional holiday gatherings, or simply to watch a football game on TV.

We also enjoy cozy nights at home where we'll cook a big pot of spaghetti and enjoy a couple of movies or a few games of Scrabble. We like to take vacations where we cherish our time away from the daily grind and value the opportunities to explore new places together. We feel it is important to go on vacations to learn new things and experience new cultures as well as to have a lot of fun. We can't wait to explore the world together with a new addition to our family!
