Suzanne is the most wonderfully warm and loving person I know. She has a natural way with babies and children who always seem to laugh and smile when they are around her. She is great with them! Her nurturing way and kind-heartedness are truly infectious. Suzanne loves nothing more than hanging out and playing with our nieces and nephews as well as our friends' children. She bakes cookies with them, builds sandcastles at the beach and they have pretend tea parties with their Dora, Elmo and Zoe dolls. Anyone who knows Suzanne knows she was meant to be a mom.

Peter is the kindest, most loving, patient, considerate and compassionate person I have ever known. With Peter, a child will always have a warm lap to snuggle in, a gentle knee to bounce on, tender stories at bedtime and lots of hugs and kisses. Peter's warmth and charisma can fill a room and his relaxed, self-assured nature always puts everyone else at ease. He loves children and especially enjoys spending time with our nieces and nephews. He is so patient with them and they trust him completely. When they visit he always has something fun and interesting planned for them to do. These qualities as well as his dedication to his family and the people he loves will make him a caring, devoted father.

We love living in our town because the location gives us the best of both worlds since New York City and the area beaches are so close. Sometimes we'll take a trip into the city to see a concert, check out a new exhibit at a museum, go shopping or enjoy a walk through Central Park. It's also fun for us to meet our friends at our favorite restaurants there and catch up on the latest in each other’s lives.

We have always enjoyed the beach. Every summer we get together with friends and family as often as we can at the New Jersey shore. At night, after a day at the beach, we like to stroll along the boardwalk, have some ice cream and ride the roller coasters and ferris wheels. The city and the beaches are nice but mostly we like to stay at home, rent a funny movie, make some popcorn, and just hang out and laugh.

Jack and Lucy

Because we both grew up with pets, we knew how much they could enrich our lives. We both love animals and wanted to give a home to pets in need of one. One of the first things we did after we bought our house was to pick out a dog and cat from a local shelter - and we think we got the best ones there! Our dog, Lucy, a tri-colored mixed breed is a favorite among the neighborhood children and she and our cat, Jack, an orange-striped tabby, became fast friends. They give us so much joy and they are both great with kids!

Whenever we go on walks, Lucy loves to stop and say hello and the kids always make a big fuss over her too. She's very playful and friendly. Jack loves to pass his days on the big, bay window seat in our family room. From there he has a spacious view of our back yard where he's constantly fascinated with the squirrels and birds that gather there. He makes us laugh as he tries to catch the leaves that fall from the trees in autumn and snowflakes in the winter. For us, our pets make our house a warm & cozy home.
