After 6 miscarriages in 5 years, adoption brought us our greatest blessings, Jason and Thomas. We love them so much! We would love to have another child! We are so grateful to their birth mothers for choosing us. Our adoption experiences were different, but both amazing. One birth mother asked to meet us in the hospital, where we got to talk to her and the birth father. It was an honor to meet them. They asked for photos more often than specified in the picture contract. We were happy to send extra photos and letters to let them know their baby was doing well. The other birth mother preferred not to meet us. We were comfortable with both situations. We're flexible. We will respect your wishes. We know that this is a very difficult time for you. We continue to send correspondence to both birth mothers, as promised. We'll be happy to send photos and letters to you as your child grows up.

Our children will always know that their birth parents loved them very much and gave them two tremendous gifts -- life and adoption. Adoption was a positive, loving choice so that they could have the best possible lives. We and our children will always be grateful for adoption so that we could be a family.

On weekends, spending time together as a family is our priority. We enjoy going to parks, swimming at outdoor pools, visiting the children's museum, aquarium, or other family attractions. We love to get together with family and friends for a barbecue. Cathy likes to cook. We're also happy to relax at home -- pushing the boys on the swings, playing kids' board games on rainy days, or watching movies at night. Cathy's hobbies are crocheting, crafts, and reading. Chin enjoys playing the classical guitar, computer games, and reading.

Before we had children, we traveled quite a bit. Together we've visited Scotland, Italy, Hawaii, Maine, Florida and various other states. We especially loved Italy and Hawaii! Now we look forward to taking vacations with the children. We recently traveled to California. Every year we visit the Amish Country in Pennsylvania, where there are amusement parks, train rides, beautiful countryside, and much more. This year we're also planning trips to the Delaware shore and to Sesame Place. We look forward to going to Disney World in the next few years. We would love to travel to a beach resort in the Bahamas! When our children are older, a dream of ours is to take them to Europe to see more of the world. We hope we will be blessed with a baby and have 3 children for our future family vacations.

Our Family

We'll do everything we can to help your baby thrive -- sing songs, play, read books, and visit playgrounds, zoos, and the library. Cathy has many friends who are stay-at-home moms with young children and babies. Your child will see other children regularly at playgroups, playgrounds, parties, and at other fun activities. At age 3, we'll enroll your child in a wonderful preschool located in a Methodist church for a few mornings per week. Jason is in his last year there and loves it!

We'll provide an excellent education for your child in our public schools, which are rated among the best schools in the country. We'll help with homework and attend school performances. We'll support your child's interests and encourage them to participate in activities that they enjoy. We can give your child a college education, which will give them more opportunities in life. We'll support their dreams for their future and help them to achieve their goals in life, just as our families did for us.
