Becoming parents is our most precious dream as we consider parenthood a blessing from God and to our marriage. It is an opportunity we have to give back all that life has given us. Along our 12 years of marriage, we have been able to constantly grow our relationship and spirit as a couple, and also as individuals. We also think that is very important to be a joyful family and being happy and laugh constantly are some of our most valued strengths that we want to share as parents. We have worked very hard and plan to do so in the future to provide the best education and tools your child needs to become who he/she is and do what makes him/her happy. He/She is our priority, so we want him/her to feel protected, accepted and loved by us and our extended families who are so excited for us in this process. We are so proud of having Hispanic background as we have strong and deep family bounds and countless traditions that we want to share with your child so he/she can feel loved, respected and be part of us and all of our family.

Enjoying the Day in Dominican Republic

Being from Hispanic background usually stands for having a lot of traditions and in our case is not the exception. Armando's family meets together every weekend to enjoy different traditional dishes in which many times the preparation of them are a tradition in itself in order for the food to taste as their "older generation" showed them how it should taste. During "El Dia de los Muertos" Day his father prepares an excellent bread special for this occasion in which we honor our ancestors. Raquel's family tradition is to pray the rosary and play the piano and sing numerous fun songs enjoying an exquisite hot cocoa chocolate.

We both love and honor our family traditions and have created new ones in which we want to include your child as well. We usually take a vacation twice a year and have visited numerous countries as this has proven to open our eyes to different and new cultures. We have lived in four different countries and experienced on a daily basis different ways of communication with people of different backgrounds. We have as a tradition to speak different languages to facilitate communication and closely understand, accept and love different ways of thinking.

We plan to cook different meals and try new dishes and continue with our family vacations, we also plan in providing a warm environment with stable and loving traditions as nighttime prayer and kisses and making and decorating fun piñatas for our birthdays, family dinners at Christmas enjoying delicious dishes and spending time with all our beloved nieces and nephews, family and friends.
