In our hearts we have always known that we were meant to be parents. We have so much love to give to a precious child that you will be secure in the knowledge that not only will this child never have to question his or her parents' love, but will always know that your love brought him or her to us. We are so excited to realize our dreams of starting our family and we thank you for taking the time to get to know us better.

Our Lifestyle

Having time for family, friends, and travel is a top priority for us, and we are very fortunate to have work situations that allow us to have a wonderful balance in our lives. Julie works for an amazing accounting firm that really emphasizes a work/life balance and is very family oriented. Her office is close to home, which is very convenient. Julie gets up early in the morning and heads to the gym for a workout before going to work. Although she never misses a day at the gym during the week, she looks forward to the day that she has an excuse to stay home or cut her workouts short to spend more time with her family.

Jeff's job comes with some great perks that make him the envy of all of his friends. As a freelance photojournalist, he has covered so many great events; the Super Bowl, the World Series, the NBA Play-off's and Finals, and even the Ryder Cup. He also has a very flexible schedule, which allows him time for grocery shopping, cooking, trips to Costco, and meeting up with friends. When he is not out taking pictures, he is able to work from home.

Putting our families first is our number one priority. We have made trips to college campuses to visit our nieces and nephews and have taken trips out of town for family functions or just to visit relatives and friends. Our favorite family vacation is our annual visit to Jeff's cousin's beach house in Wisconsin. We try to coordinate a time that is convenient for as many family members as possible because it is always a fun time to all be together for boating, relaxing, laughing, and of course eating a lot!

What We Like to Do for Fun

We both love spending time outdoors. One of our favorite past-times is taking long bike rides, stopping along the way for lunch and sightseeing. We often go for bike rides with Jeff's brothers and their families, sometimes stopping for ice cream along the way. We also love to walk to our local cider mill on a crisp fall afternoon, usually recruiting friends or family to join us for the adventure. The best day to go to the cider mill is on the last day that they are open, which is when the donuts are at their finest!!

We enjoy getting together with our family and friends, whether at a restaurant or at our home. It is always fun to get together with Julie's cousins for a friendly poker game or a Wii challenge. But we especially love spending our week-ends together passing the day away running errands, shopping, or simply relaxing together.

Our Pets

Our Cats Lily and Iris

Belly rubs, pettings, and brushings are practically a daily event for Lily and Iris, our furry family members! We love to pamper them and spoil them with attention. When they are not sleeping in their favorite spots, they are following us around the house just to see what we are up to. They are very special to both of us and they are a very important part of our lives.

Lily and Iris are friendly and affectionate and, although they are strictly indoor cats, we love to open the door to the backyard for them so that they can peer through the screen door and enjoy the fresh air. They always let us know when they need some loving or when their food bowl is empty. Our house has plenty of pet beds for them to curl up in and they each have their favorites. When they were kittens they were always curled up together, but now they are just a little too big for that.
