What We Love, Admire and Respect in Each Other
Jason: The thing I love most about Stephanie is her desire to make others happy. Not only that, but her ability to do it. Sometimes she does not need to do anything more than smile. It is contagious. And it is impossible not to join her when she laughs. Her family says she gets this from her grandfather, her only relative not blood related, but the one she was closest to. I know she will love any child regardless of the biological connection. I know she will be a
great mother.
Stephanie: The thing I love the most about Jason is his heart. He is truly the kindest person that I have ever known. He always puts the needs of other people before his own. He has a desire to help others enjoy life the same way that he does and easily succeeds in this. His passion and love for life shines through with everything that he does and this always makes everyone else want to be around him. He is the strongest person that I have ever known. He has been my constant rock throughout our relationship and he is always there to listen when I need it. He always knows how to make me laugh. Above all else he is my best friend and I know he will be an incredible dad.
Fun Games, Events and Hobbies We Look Forward to Sharing with a Child
The thing that we most look forward to sharing with your child will be love and the sense of family. This includes low key everyday activities such as nightly dinners and eventually helping with his or her homework. We also look forward to sharing many family vacations, holidays and sporting events with your child. Jason is a huge sports nut. He loves going to baseball games in the summer and football games in the fall. He has commented many times that he cannot wait to share this love with a child. He also loves playing basketball and guitar and looks forward to the day when he can pass these skills to your child. Stephanie loves to bake and often envisions the time when she is in the kitchen with the child helping. She has a huge love for animals and Christmas time and cannot wait to be able to pass this love along to your child. We both love watching movies and are very excited about family movie nights with this child. We also have a great love for traveling and seeing new places and we cannot wait to share this with your child. Above all else we want to share with your child the loving family that we are and the incredible extended family that we have.
Our Pets
We Love Hanging Out with Our Animals
We have two wonderful pets that are very full of life. Our cat, Woodstock, literally pushed his way into our lives on a snowy day a little over five years ago. He was a stray and in very bad shape. We quickly decided that we would keep him and nurse him back to health. We have always felt that he is so special to us because he was there from almost the beginning of our relationship, and we believe that it was our love that helped him go from a sick cat to the lovable fur-ball he is today. Our dog, Peppermint Patty, is a miniature Dauschand and is everything you would imagine in a puppy. She is adorable, friendly, curious and loves everyone. She came into our lives two years ago when we moved into our house. She was sort of a housewarming/anniversary gift from Jason to Stephanie, who had wanted a dog for a long time. She is very important to us because we got her when we were starting a new chapter, moving from the city dwellers that we were to the suburban adults we are now, ready to start a family. Both of our pets are incredibly important to us because they are our family. Whenever we are away from home we have pictures of them close by and always get so excited to get back to see them.
