We have two special vacation spots that we share together. One is the Dominican Republic. This spot is so special because we spent three weeks there for our honeymoon in 2000. We loved the capital Santo Domingo and all the nature around there. Especially the long beaches and the nice view over the ocean fascinated us. It was also an experience to learn about a total different culture where the citizens live in humble homes and they are happy anyway.

Our other favorite place is in Austria. We love to go skiing in the mountains all day long and in the evening we play cards and board games with our friends. Martina's brother owns a small cottage there in between the mountains and when we have time we like to get up there with his family. We would love to show your child this place and show him/her how to ski and have winter fun in the mountains.

We are German and are spending time in the United States currently but will return to Germany. Germany is located in middle Europe and is built through 16 states. The capital city is Berlin. Germany is a totally different country and it is much smaller than the USA. We have a totally different social system and even the health care system is also completely diverse. Germany supports our people with other kinds of care system the people don't have to worry about their future when they get older or if they need medical support.

We have a lot of other cultures in Germany too. In Germany, there are Germans, Turks, Americans, Greeks, Russians etc. all living together. There are many different ethnicities and people are culturally diverse. Some Europeans have not had a good life in their own country for differing reasons so they come to Germany.

But there is much more than that in Germany. We have the biggest amusement park in the world - the so called "Oktoberfest". We partake in Oktoberfest almost every year with our friends and always have a lot of fun. We also have a lot of interesting castles and churches. Our food in Germany is also a little bit different but our American friends who have ever tried German food are all excited about it. Our biggest wish is to show your child a wonderful life in Germany where even education possibilities are the best in Europe.

With Our Dog Sunny at Home

We love doing things together in our leisure time, especially with our dog Sunny. She is a Labrador mix and she loves playing with everybody. We walk her twice a day and we simply love doing things outdoors. Stephan likes riding his bike and playing soccer with friends. On rainy days he likes to experiment with new things on his computer. Martina loves doing handcrafts with friends, reading books on our patio, playing with Sunny and of course taking a dip in our above ground pool in the backyard. We love spending time together and hanging out with friends playing cards, board games, watching movies, eating pizza or having a barbeque.

Additionally we are using our time here in the US to explore as many cities and cultures as we can. We like the mini-vacations on the long weekends. At the moment our favorite spot is the West Coast of the US. We would love to take your child in our warm community and doing things together with him/her. Some of our friends already have some children and we always enjoy them when we do things together.
