Allison's brother was adopted when he was one month old. Allison's parents raised her and her brother with an open and clear knowledge that he was given to our family by a loving mother who wanted the best for him. Growing up with an adoptive brother gave Allison a true understanding of the blessing of adoption. It is this experience that makes adoption a natural choice for our family.

Many years ago, open adoption was not an option. Allison's brother had little knowledge of his birth parents. We are happy that adoption has changed. We are willing to talk and meet with you if that is your desire. We would also like to share photos and exchange letters with you. Your child will be raised to know how special you are and that our family is blessed by your selfless love.

We have learned that things happen for a reason, whether good or bad. These things eventually lead you to where you are meant to be. We have experienced many ups and downs on the journey to grow our family. One wonderful experience was the birth of our daughter, Jillian. She was born during a time we experienced many struggles with miscarriages. After experiencing a total of 5 devastating miscarriages in four years, we knew that we were being called to add to our family through adoption. We feel it is God's plan for our family. In our hearts, we know that we are meant to be adoptive parents.

Allison on Mike - What initially attracted me to Mike is his warm smile and kind, brown eyes. What made me fall in love with him are his strong loyalty, wonderful patience, and hearty laugh. Mike is a true "man of his word." Whether with me or his friends, he is always there when you need him - keeping his promises, no matter how small. He is a wonderful husband and father. His love runs deep and his heart is big. I know he will love your child completely and provide unfailing security and comfort, as he does for me.

Mike on Allison - Not only is Allison beautiful on the outside to me, but she is even more beautiful on the inside. There is no one I know who is a more caring, and thoughtful friend than she is. Her warmth and beauty light up the room anytime she walks in. She has so much love to give to everyone around her, especially me and our daughter. I admire and am amazed at Allison's dedication to being a stay-at-home mom. Whether it is singing silly songs and acting goofy, participating in classes or cuddling on the couch with a book, Allison makes our family her priority.

Hayride and Pumpkin-Picking Fun

Our daughter, Jillian, is 3 and full of energy and imagination. She loves playing dress-up in princess dresses and twirling in front of the mirror. Many times, we'll catch her singing a song she made up about our family, Little Mermaid or Cinderella. But, she is also a tomboy at times. When we work in our yard planting flowers, she loves to find worms, play in the dirt or jump in puddles.

Our hearts melt when she talks about wanting a little brother or sister. She is so gentle and loving to babies and would be extremely thrilled to be a big sister. Over the past year, we babysat our newborn nephew every week and she would get so excited to see him, showering him with hugs and kisses. She will be an amazing big sister and we can't wait for her to have this dream come true.
