Tom is a beautiful person on the outside, but what attracted me to him is what he possesses on the inside-he is such a gentle soul. He is the most caring, loving, gentle, compassionate funny man I know. He is extremely hard working in every aspect of his life. Tom has such a positive outlook on life and always knows the right things to say.

Jen is the most caring, loving woman I ever met. Jen would do anything for our family and our dogs. She truly puts herself second and devotes much time to the important people in her life. Jen always has a smile and is great at making the people around her feel all the love she has to offer.

As a couple we give each other much respect and listen to each other’s opinions. We love each other for who we are, and would never want to change one another. Our relationship is so successful because we are both two selfless people who truly respect one another. We have the same values and ethics in life. Communication is also key to our success as a couple. We always take time to laugh and no matter how hard life gets-we always have one another.

We both love to be outdoors! Tom likes running, biking, surfing, fishing and swimming. He is also very gifted when it comes to home improvement projects and has done a wonderful job in our home and beach house. Jen enjoys running, cycling, pilates, reading and having girl time with her mom, aunts, and little cousins over lunch. Together we love walking our dogs, taking bike rides around the lake or on the board walk and kayaking in the bay.

Some of our best times are spent right at home. We like to relax and have movie night snuggled on the couch with the dogs. Spending time with family and friends is one of our favorite things to do. Our house has a revolving door and someone is always coming or going and we love that. Sleepovers that include movie and game night with our little cousins, nephews and niece are so much fun.

We both love and are extremely compassionate to all animals. Currently, we have a unique little family of Yorkshire Terriers.-BJ (dad), CeCe (mommy) and Sparkle (their baby). They are each special and different in their own ways and bring so much joy and laughter to our home. BJ is such a "love sponge," spins in circles for carrots, and loves to run from room to room in the house while the girls chase him-it's quite a funny sight to see! CeCe is the "princess" and loves to squeak her toys, prance around the house, go on walks and bike rides in her basket. Sparkle, their baby, is the neatest combination of both of their personalities. She loves to play but she is also very shy too, can be found sleeping in a laundry basket or bag in a closet, she makes the funniest noises and always wakes us up in the morning with her gentle left paw. They are the happiest little things and they love kids too, especially our two year old nephew Gavin who loves to play fetch with them.

Besides the joy they bring us, they also bring to our lives the experience of nurturing, caring and being responsible for a small life. Having these three companions makes it easy to see why research has proven pets can provide excellent social support, stress relief and other health benefits.
