Our names are Charles and Heather and we are excited to start our family through adoption. If you choose us to become the adoptive parents of your child, we will be forever grateful. We have talked about the type of parents we want to be since before we were married. We believe in providing a nurturing loving environment that will allow children to grow and flourish. We will provide a child with unconditional love and support and will teach them about strong morals, good work ethic and the importance of family and friends. We also recognize that as parents it is our role to provide a child with discipline and structure.

Charles is a teacher and so education is at the forefront of priorities. We will ensure that a child has a fantastic scholastic education and will also provide them with a wealth of experiences through travel, music and arts. We want them to be well-rounded and to know that the world is big and full of all kinds of opportunities for them.

Together, we play golf and enjoy boating with friends. We like to entertain and enjoy inviting family or friends over for dinner or to spend a night catching up around a bonfire.

Charles loves the outdoors. He loves to fish and grows a big garden every year. He spends time working in the garden, and canning pickles, peppers and salsa. His pickles are a particular favorite. We can't go to a party or family function without taking a jar.

Heather loves to go shopping for home décor with her Mom, spend an afternoon at the spa with friends or take a yoga class. She loves a clean house and enjoys cranking up the music while she buzzes around the house cleaning. When she is content with the inside then she will move to the outside and work on the flower beds or sit on the patio and read.

We also love to travel. We enjoy visiting different parts of the country and the world. We look forward to sharing our love of travel with a child someday.

We have two Boxers, Jessie and Jackie. They are full of energy and bring us lots of joy. Heather takes them for long walks at night and is always trying to teach them a new trick. Charles loves to get on the floor and wrestle around and cuddle up with them.

Our dogs are a huge part of our family. We both had pets as children and believe that having a pet can be a great learning experience for a child.

They are the sweetest dogs and filled with affection. They have a great temperament and love when kids come over to visit. We look forward to the day when we can bring a baby home and see the curious looks on our dogs’ faces.
