Rob's most obvious qualities are his kindness and intelligence. He seems to be quiet at first until he gets started on current events! He likes to talk about the news and events going on in the world. He always strives to do the right thing and you can see that in his daily life and work. He has a great strength of character, which along with his friendliness, has led to him mentoring many of his younger co-workers. Both of us are quite laid back in our approach to life and like to laugh a lot.

Emma's most admired qualities are her honesty and integrity. For her job, she is often praised for both. However, she also has the wonderful qualities of compassion, empathy, humor, and is known for working well with a team to accomplish a goal. She is driven to achieve her dreams and inspires others around her to do the same. She is a great role model and always has been.

Rob likes to run to keep fit and takes part in local races including marathons. Emma is more interested in arts and has fun making videos and taking part in film festivals. Together we like to do yoga and also travel. Usually we take short weekend trips to discover small towns, go hiking, and visit various local attractions. Our favorite places are near beaches or mountains. When we're near a beach, we enjoy surfing as often as we can and collecting seashells to decorate our home. Beaches are a wonderful place for children to run, play, and learn about the ocean and we cannot wait to share these trips with your child.

We are a unique couple since we are multicultural as well as multiracial. Rob's parents are African American and Baptist (mother) and Polish American and Jewish (father) and Rob was raised learning both cultures and traditions. Emma was born and raised in Scotland by a Scottish father and American mother so your child will experience both American and Scottish heritage, traditions, foods, and culture. We are both well traveled and have experienced many cultures, before and after we were married, and plan to continue our travels with your child both locally and worldwide. We plan to raise the child with Christian values.

With Our Cat, Yogi

We have grown up with dogs and cats and currently have a cat, Yogi, who is a real character. We adopted him from the SPCA five years ago and he's always moved with us wherever we have gone. He entertains us and helps us calm down from a busy day. He is playful, and enjoys our company as well as our guests. He is an outdoor cat who loves roaming through the gardens and watching the birds. However, he still wants to be petted, picked up, play, and sleep on "his humans" as a show of love.
