We adopted Trenton two years ago through American Adoptions. We have had a wonderful adoption experience and we share information with Trent's birthmother a couple times a month. We have pictures of our adoption experience in a special photo album that we show Trent and talk to him about the love his birthparents have for him. Trent is a very active and healthy two year old little boy. He loves to play outside on our swing set and on his motorized John Deere toy gator truck. He has 5 children on our block that are his same age and loves to play with them. Trenton is bi-racial (Caucasian/African American) and is educated on both his ethnicities. Trenton fits in well with our family as he has two cousins that are also bi-racial (Caucasian/African American) and everyone in the family is very supportive of his ethnicity mix. We also have a nephew that was adopted so he will have an older family member to talk with about being adopted. Trenton and your child would be well cared for everyday by David as he is a stay at home father. David does a fantastic job of teaching Trenton new things and ensuring he is meeting all developmental milestones.

We love to laugh and be happy. David has a wonderful way of making everyone laugh. We enjoy having barbeques and pizza parties with our extended families and friends. We play board games, watch the kids play and share funny stories. We enjoy attending our nieces and nephews sporting events, church programs and dance recitals. We have holiday meals at our house and out of town family and guests stay at our place. During the summer we enjoy camping, staying in tents and cooking food over a fire. It is a wonderful way to bond as you don't have a TV to get in the way. We love to boat, jet ski and let our dog swim during our camping trips. We also like to travel to explore new destinations and customs.

Dozer and Trenton, Buddies

We have an English bulldog which is an important part of our lives. Dozer is full energy and provides a lot of laughter around the house. He is wonderful with children, gentle and loving. Trenton is best buddies with Dozer, they do everything together. They play together for hours indoors and outdoors. Dozer let's Trent pull and poke on him and never loses patience. Dozer climbs up the stairs to the swing set clubhouse and plays with Trenton in there, when they are done they go down the slide together. It is a hilarious sight to see. Dozer is there to comfort Trenton if he is upset and lies on the floor as his protector as he sleeps. Dozer will be a wonderful companion for your child; he brings a lot of joy and laughter.
