As a matter of fact, we have been amazed to see our friends' adopted children thrive on similar values and unconditional love. We want to give your child the right chances right from the start: the best school in town, access to the children's club to enjoy sports, exotic vacations to discover the most beautiful places in the world and whatever he/she would like to explore when growing up. As our hopes for having a baby of our own were not fulfilled, we felt sorrow and regrets. But life can be full of surprises, so we let our natural optimism take over and started dreaming of Christmas trees, teddy bears and trips to Disneyland. Friends of ours adopted three lovely children who thrive through life with vibrant confidence and enthusiasm. They want to try everything everywhere they go whether on the playground, at school or on the baseball field. Our friends' house is full of joy and buzzing throughout the year: the children look incredibly happy, biting into life each morning as if picking ripe apples in the orchards. We were in awe and admiration and wondered what made these children so special. All it takes is a dinner at the family table to get the answer: these children feed and grow on unconditional parental love! They know they were adopted and thrive because they know they were loved twice from the very first day they came to this world: once by their birth mother who made the ultimate sacrifice for their well-being and then by their adoptive parents who have nurtured them like their own ever since they were born. Over the course of time, we realized that, what we had thought of for so long as a curse was in reality a wonderful opportunity God was showing us-we were meant to become parents in another, no less miraculous way - through adoption.
