We feel it is important to remember that a child should not be told just once about their adoption, but talked with throughout each of the stages of childhood development. We will provide a comfortable, accepting atmosphere in which a child can communicate the questions they are thinking about and get the answers they are searching for. We believe that being honest with a child and answering their questions about their birthparents(s) will be one of the major factors in their success. We thank you for considering adoption and if chosen, giving us the opportunity to provide your child with unconditional love and happiness.

We feel it is absolutely necessary that every child is provided a quality education. Whether it is public or private schooling; it is the foundation of life. We also think it is very important that parents as well as teachers are involved in teaching and educating children. We will encourage them to give 100 percent in their schooling as it will cultivate them into a mature individual, capable of planning for their future and making good decisions. We feel that a child should be exposed to a variety of topics including, their surroundings and community not just the basic classroom environment. We will teach them it is okay to make mistakes and how to learn from them.

We enjoy spending time together by having a weekly dinner at a restaurant and seeing a movie. We are very health conscience and enjoy exercising by taking our dogs for long walks. Tommy enjoys playing computer games and surfing the web for interesting stories. He has delegated his time when not with Heidi by completing the basement in their current home. He is hoping the home theater will be completed by summer to invite family and friends over. Heidi loves reading and watching television in her spare time. She recently joined a book club and finds joy in sharing with others. She is working towards her degree in Business Administration at University of Phoenix. We love playing UNO, Sorry or Monopoly. Tommy usually wins, but its fun spending an afternoon together at home.

What we look forward to most about having children is showing them love. It would be wonderful to plan a birthday party, where they are the center of attention as they would be in our hearts. Taking walks in the summer with the dogs on trails located nearby or around the nearby lake and showing them all of nature's beauty. It would be most delightful in planning a summer vacation to an amusement park or a Disney Cruise. We look forward to fundraisers for school, joining the PTA, attending extracurricular events and playing games on a Sunday afternoon. We think it would be wonderful to sit and watch them draw and color pictures while we take many pictures to cherish and share with you.
