Our faith has impacted our relationship from the very beginning as we are both Catholics. We began dating in our late teens, and since we came from faithful families, going to mass together was a part of our routine. Every Saturday night, we would go to 5:30 mass together, and then go out on a date or to one of our homes for a family dinner. It is a tradition that we continue to this day, and we look forward to sharing it with your child.

We firmly believe that our marriage is so strong because of our faith. We believe that with Jesus in our life everything else just falls into place. We are very involved in our church community. One of our favorite tasks is to organize and serve a hot lunch at a local soup kitchen. Jackie volunteers for the Children's Liturgy of the Word where she reads and teaches that week's scripture readings to the young children of the parish.

We plan to share our faith with your child and to raise him or her to be a good person who cares for others. We pray that you may feel confident in knowing that you have made the right decision for your child, knowing that he or she will have a wonderful life. We pray that you may have an easy pregnancy and delivery. We thank the Lord for your courage, your strength, and your love for your child.

On the Beach in Italy

We are best friends who really like each other as well as love each other. We enjoy each other's company and have a lot of fun together! We like to travel, go out to eat, take day trips, listen to music, ride roller coasters, spend time with family and friends, and entertain in our home. We enjoy going on vacation both in the US and abroad. One of our favorite destinations is Italy where we have cousins who we try to visit every few years.

Some of our favorite times are spent at home doing the simple things in life such as relaxing by the fire in the winter or hanging out on the patio in the summer listening to music. Coming from two large families with plenty of aunts, uncles, and cousins, there always seems to be a family celebration happening. We love spending time with our extended families and feel lucky to have so many relatives who live close by.

Steve's favorite hobbies are sports, playing golf, cooking (he is a great cook!), gardening, and classic cars. Currently, Steve is rebuilding a 1966 Ford Mustang. Jackie's favorite hobbies are yoga, hula hooping (she can keep a hula hoop going for an indefinite amount of time!), crafting, crochet, walking, baking, and reading.

Anne Boleyn & Henry VIII on Halloween

We love to have fun entertaining at home! Two big days at our house are Halloween and Super Bowl Sunday. We celebrate those days in a big way.

Every Halloween, we turn the outside and entrance of our home into a haunted house complete with spider webs, scary music, flashing lights, and fog machine. Jackie and her best friend dress in costume for the neighborhood children while Steve is the "sound and fog man." Our nieces and nephews spend Halloween with us and go Trick-or-Treating together in the neighborhood. Neighbors also stop by with their children for a bite to eat and candy, of course!

Our yearly Super Bowl parties are a blast. Each year, we choose a theme for the party which we carry out through the whole party. Favorite themes have included Shrek, The Jetsons, and of course the NY Giants when they are in the "big game." Steve creates the invitation and superimposes our faces into the scene. It is hysterical and guests can't wait to see what we have come up with each year. We wait for the day when we add another "little face" to the invitation. Fun is had by all with contests, raffles, prizes, and Steve's famous chili!
