Strengths as Individuals

Brett's strongest feature is his confidence in all that he sets out to do. When he sets his mind on accomplishing something, he gives it his all and as a result, is usually very successful. It is this strength that Robyn noticed and fell in love with. It certainly is not his only strength. His confidence is complimented by his friendly and generous spirit. He is always willing to help someone out if needed. Over the years, this has gained him respect from a lot of friends.

Robyn is the kind of person that will do just about anything for anyone as she really enjoys the satisfaction she gets from helping others. She too, is a very kind-hearted person. We compliment each other in this way. She is always a positive force, believing anything is possible if thought through all the way. Giving up on anyone or anything is a rarity with Robyn. I could not have asked for a better partner in life.

We are the people we are today; strong, kind and generous, because of the love and moral guidance we received from our families.

Our Pets Are Important to Us

Tankster (puppy) and Sheila (full grown Sheltie)

We have a great love for our shelties (miniature collies). They are our friends, companions and four-legged children.

One of our shelties, Harley, recently passed away and we miss him very much. The great thing about Harley was his playful personality and rough and tumble ways. We could swear he would do things just to make us laugh - he was a fantastic furry friend.

Sheila is our oldest pet and over the years has lost some of her playful ways. She needs encouragement to go for walks and wants little to do with playing ball. She will sit outside with us if we coax her with food (haha). We guess you could call her a princess of sorts. She is the most precious and kind-hearted pet anyone could ask for.

Tankster is the newest member of our family and as puppies can be; he is very active and playful. We enjoy his playful personality. He is always excited to see you and is full of "kisses" when he greets you. Sheila and he are bonding quickly - both are huge parts of our family and we look forward to coming home to them everyday.

We feel that they will both enjoy and love the company of a child. We know from our experiences growing up with pets, that they will play an instrumental role in teaching a child responsibilities. The unconditional love a pet has for their owners is priceless.

Our Favorite Vacation Spot

Our Vacation Home and Sunrise at Myrtle Beach

Our family owns a house on the beach in South Carolina. This is our favorite vacation spot because we have come to know most of the people in the area. The community surrounding the house is very family oriented and we have enjoyed getting to know most of our neighbors. There are tons of children playing on the beach, splashing in the water and building sand castles. We know they will eagerly welcome another playmate and we too are anxious to help a child build sand castles and wade in the water searching for shells. We are very excited to have a child experience many fun parts of our lives; taking family vacations, enjoying miniature golf, amusement parks and going to dinner theaters.

Enjoying the Nice Weather Floating on Our Boat in the River

There is so much to see and do that each year we try to do something new. It will be great for a child to pick an activity they enjoy that we can all experience as a family. One year we rented a boat and took it out into the bay, docked at a beach we had never been to before and saw pelicans for the first time. The only thing that would have made this any better would be to have had a child by our sides, experiencing the fascination along with us.
