Summer Family Picnic
We love having our families get together on the holidays. On Christmas Eve the entire family comes to our house for dinner. Christmas Eve dinner with the family has been a long time tradition that Teresa's parents always held and she plans to continue it. Everyone looks forward to trying a new homemade dish Teresa makes each year. We listen to Christmas music while opening gifts from people we will not have time to visit on Christmas day. On Christmas day we start off by visiting Teresa's niece for breakfast and watch her four children open presents. Afterwards it's off to Teresa's sister's house for lunch and finally Rob's parent's house for dinner.
As Easter rolls around, like many holidays, we go to church in the morning and go to Rob's parent's house for dinner. During the summer months we have everyone over for picnics to enjoy swimming in the pool and cookouts. By the end of the day it can sometimes be hard for the parents to get their children rounded up because they have so much fun playing in the yard and swimming in the pool. Having the joy of playing games with your child, swimming in the pool, going on family vacations to Disney World, and seeing Santa ride down our street at Christmas time are just a few of the things we would love to share with a child.
Rob's parents went camping all of the years he grew up. Teresa's family also went camping in many different places. The camping experience is one of the many things the two of us have in common. Rob's parents have taken a family trip to Walt Disney World where we camped for a week at Fort Wilderness. There was so much to do at this camp ground, it was amazing. You could ride speed boats in the lake, go fishing, swimming, horseback riding, go on a hay ride and even pet some animals to name a few. Teresa's family would get together and go to Assateague Park in Maryland. This park is great because you can camp on the beach, sleep under the stars, swim in the ocean, and enjoy the wild horses and deer that freely roam the park. Another benefit of the park is that Ocean City Maryland Boardwalk is within a short driving distance where you can enjoy the various amusement rides and treats on the boardwalk. These are just a few of the many experiences we would love to do again and share with your child.
| Fun Games And Events We Look Forward To Sharing With A Child |
At the Zoo in the Bahamas
We look forward to playing children's games once again such as board games, card games, building blocks, reading books and playing outdoor games with your child. We enjoy going to various sporting events such as baseball, basketball and hockey games. In the winter, depending on weather you like snow or not, it can be fun to play in the snow, have snowball fights, go sledding, or just build a snowman. Simply going to the movies and enjoying popcorn while watching the latest movie is always a treat. Walking through the local park, canoeing, paddle boating, or playing miniature golf is always an adventure on a sunny day. Visiting a zoo or aquarium can be a fun time and a great learning experience.
We look forward to encouraging your child to be all he or she wants to be in life. We hope to leave an impression on them of love, laughter, and a great family bond that they will someday want to share with their own family.
