You are a brave and amazing person, and we want to thank you for considering adoption for your child. You and your child are already in our daily thoughts and prayers. If adoption is the decision you decide to make, we hope we can be a part of this journey with you. We are currently in an open adoption situation with our son, and would love to do the same for you if that is something you would like. We believe families created by adoption are extremely special and a true gift from God. We assure you that your adopted child will grow to understand and respect your love and selflessness and will also know his or her unique adoption story and how we became a family.

| What Adoption Means to Us |
Adoption Day!
Adoption for us means ... family-Santa Claus-vacations-art projects on the frig-some sleepless nights-trips to the doctor and this amazing feeling in our hearts that can't be explained. Adoption first blessed our lives in July 2006. The day we met Bodey's birthmother is one of the most memorable and amazing days of our lives. To meet this courageous wonderful woman, who was willing to open her heart and put all of her emotions on the line all for the love of her son. This is an experience that has changed our lives and showed us what an amazing special love that is. Bodey has truly blessed our lives and we have decided that this is the time to complete our family with a second adoption. We are looking forward to adopting again and we are going to take in and cherish every moment this has to offer. Our children will have this special bond that not all siblings get to experience. They will be able to share together the great moments and the struggles that may come as they grow-up and fully understand their adoption story. To have someone that close to you that truly understands your thoughts and feelings will be a true blessing. We promise to give your child a happy home and a loving family. Once we have completed this adoption we feel our family will be complete; full of laughter, smiles and plenty of love.
The Perfect Pumpkin
Family traditions - we have so many. We are a family that loves the holidays. Some of our favorite traditions are during the Fall months. Every year we go to the local Pumpkin Patch with 2 of Jodi's cousins who also have small children and we spend hours picking the perfect pumpkin, going thru corn mazes, feeding the goats and doing many more fun activities. Also for Halloween we go on a hayride Trick or Treating and then back to one of Jodi's cousin houses for a bonfire. Christmas of course has many family traditions that we love. From baking cookies, sing along with Santa, White Gift service at church, our big Christmas gathering with Jodi's family Christmas morning with about 50 family members to spending the day after Christmas with Donny's family. But one of our favorite traditions/routines is our bedtime with Bodey. Getting into bed every night snuggling up and reading books is the perfect way to end a day. We also celebrate Bodey's Adoption Day every year by doing something very special with him, and allowing us time to discuss his adoption story with him.

We both have various hobbies that we do together and individually. Jodi enjoys reading, scrapbooking, baking, Jazzercise and taking time to just sit by the pool. Donny enjoys working on his Jeep, Geocaching, hunting and woodworking. Together we enjoy boating, hiking and traveling. We also enjoy going out to eat and trying new restaurants around town. Our lifestyle also includes spending plenty of time with our families. Most Saturdays Jodi and several of her cousins get together for coffee. This also becomes a great play date for all the young children. During the summer we spend a lot of time out on Donny's brother's boat or have family and friends over for BBQ's. We are both very close with our families and not a week goes by that we do not do something with one of them.
