We love being parents and are committed to providing a safe, loving, stable and encouraging environment for our children. Your child will be loved as one of our own in the same way that Elizabeth is loved by her adoptive family. We are very excited for the opportunity to expand our family. Thank you for considering the courageous choice of adoption.

Elizabeth was adopted at two weeks of age. She has wonderful childhood memories and fondly recalls how her parents told her on numerous occasions that she was "chosen" to be a member of their family. Her three brothers tell stories about lying on the floor by her crib and later babysitting her. She enjoyed the activity of a busy home. She never found it difficult to fit in or belong. Many strangers have remarked that she looks like her adoptive father. She and her father smile together as they secretly know the truth. Elizabeth is excited to continue this tradition for your baby and she will cherish the mother-child bond as well as the bond of adoption.
Eric and Elizabeth agree that family is our first priority. We each have demanding careers; however, we start each workday with a plan to be home as soon as possible to spend time with Henry. He attends a preschool in our neighborhood and his teachers share our commitment to provide a safe and nurturing environment. We are excited to bond with our new baby at home while Henry continues to play with friends and learn at preschool.
One family tradition includes "Monday Night Parties" which are celebrated each week in an attempt to ease the transition from family time during the weekend to work/school activities during the week. In addition, Elizabeth constructed her work schedule to reserve each Thursday for "Mommy-Henry day." We are excited to include a new baby in these traditions and to develop new traditions along the way.
We are extremely blessed to have a 4 and a half year old son named Henry. He is anxious to have a brother or sister. Henry is happy, active, funny, energetic, playful and quite entertaining. He loves to be silly with Eric and Elizabeth and constantly tries to make them laugh (sometimes to avoid a "time-out"). Many people have described him as "a sweet boy," "well-behaved" and "very happy." We love him more than words can express. |
