A parent's love is deep however a child comes into their lives and that is something we want a child to understand right away. It is our plan to be open and truthful with the child about the adoption from day one. We have decided to have two celebrations every year; one for the child's birthday and one for the date we actually bring him/ her home with us. Both will be celebrated with cake, decorations, and loving, thoughtful gifts. We've already begun our search for the perfect lap-time or bed time story books to read to a child daily. One of our favorites was written by the actress Jamie Lee Curtis and is called "Tell me about the night I was born". A diary has already been started to memorialize the adoption process and will continue to be kept so your child will always know what a special gift he/she is to us and to you.

Watching the Sunset in Key West
Our favorite vacation spot would be Key West with out a doubt. We love the calm beaches, both on the Gulf of Mexico side and the Atlantic Ocean side. The relaxed and friendly atmosphere reflects our personalities. The sunsets are beautiful and we love to watch them while sitting on the water in a boat or on the beach. We really enjoy stopping in all of the Keys on our way to Key West. We like to take our time and enjoy the drive as well as enjoy the scenery. One of the places we like to stop at is the "Theater by the Sea". You can swim with Dolphins, get kissed by a Sea Lion, and watch tropical birds perform. Trying new restaurants is also something we really enjoy; the seafood is incredible and most places have live bands, which we also really like. Mary is a certified advanced scuba diver and enjoys diving ship wrecks and coral reefs while there. We both thoroughly enjoy snorkeling together and taking underwater photographs.

We do not have children and neither of us have a previous marriage. We are choosing to adopt because we have tried for several years to conceive a child without success. Having children has always been something we knew we would be great at and we now have a clear understanding that we are meant to adopt. Adopting a child would not only satisfy our desire to be parents but it would also give the child opportunities that he/ she might not have been afforded otherwise. Along with providing a warm, affectionate home with unconditional love, we can provide great education and socialization to a child. We are so excited to be parents and can't wait to read stories and sing lullabies to a child. We look forward to swimming in the pool or sitting by the chimney making S'mores while watching the Florida sun set. Going fishing on the Golf Course behind our house and riding bikes around the neighborhood are also some things we are excited about. Mary looks forward to rocking a baby to sleep while feeding him/ her their last bottle of the day and Brady looks forward to playing catch with him/her. Most of all we wish for a child to look into our eyes and know that, no matter what, they are forever loved and cherished. |
