Enjoying College Football!
We are very active people and love doing an array of things! Some of our favorite activities include playing golf, tennis, taking walks in our neighborhood with our dog and going to the local beaches. Luckily, we live near downtown and love to ride our bicycles to grab something to eat or to just go for a ride; we often talk about how we can't wait experience showing a child how to ride a bike. You can frequently find us at the nearby parks having a picnic or going for a stroll. There is a marina that is only minutes away from our house and we enjoy spending time out on the water boating. We are both somewhat athletic, so if it is an outdoor activity, we do it! Marc grew up playing soccer and he still plays on local recreational leagues. Marc also is an avid snow skier and his family used to go on one or two ski trips to Vermont or New Hampshire each winter when he was young. Now we have a place in Utah where we take yearly ski trips with the entire family and Marc is so excited to have a little one to share the joy of skiing with. Molli also spends her leisure time reading, gardening and working on arts and crafts projects. She is constantly taking ideas from magazines or the Home & Garden Network and trying them out for herself. Molli also enjoys sewing and has already thought about how much fun it will be making dance and baton costumes for a little girl or Halloween costumes for a little boy. Volunteering in our community is also a big part of our life and we truly believe in giving to others. During the fall we are both huge college football fans and are members of our local alumni association chapters. Our alma maters are rivals which makes everything just that much more exciting!
Marc Skiing
Recently Marc's older brother and his wife had a son and watching them raise and care for him has only confirmed our deepest desires to become parents ourselves. We hope to soon have a family of our own and are eager to watch a child grow and form their own personality. As parents our goals are to guide, support, and educate him or her so that they can become a happy and self-confident adult. Integrity, respect for other people and understanding are values that we were raised with and want to pass along. Both of us have college degrees and believe that education is one of the most important aspects of a child's life. We are very fortunate to be financially stable and to be able to provide your child with the best education possible. Not only do we feel that it is important to receive a formal education but it is our responsibility as parents to also educate your child in all aspects of life. We hope to instill a desire to learn and gain knowledge so that your child will have the confidence and ability to succeed in every facet of their life.
Perry Claire on the Boat
One of our great joys is our love for animals. We both grew up with all kinds of pets and can not imagine them not being a part of our life. Right now we have a beautiful dog, Perry Claire, whom Molli rescued from the shelter nine years ago. In our family pets are treated just like family members; they even get birthday and Christmas presents! Molli's sister has two dogs and her parents have four so needless to say when the entire family gets together it is like a "zoo" but we wouldn't have it any other way. |
