Taylor & Charlotte

"I love you to the moon and back" - Guess How Much, I Love You, Written by Sam McBratney

We borrowed this quote from one of our favorite children's books. In one short sentence, it sums up the way we feel about one another as a family. We are a family of three that deeply love and cherish one another, anxiously waiting to become a family of four. We are Taylor and Charlotte and our relationship began more than 10 years ago. Together we have experienced the miracle birth of our son Walker and struggled through years of secondary infertility. Our love for each other has kept us strong along life's winding paths. Through all of our experiences we have learned that life does not always turn out the way we expect it to, but will turn out the way it was meant to. We are looking forward growing our family through adoption and are grateful for the opportunities to introduce ourselves to you.

What Takes Priority in Our Lives

Mommy and Daddy -
The Human Swing!
Family is our number one priority! We feel fortunate to have the ability for Charlotte to stay home and think it is an important part of raising a family. She taught elementary school before Walker was born and is passionate about education. She enjoys tutoring neighborhood children and feels blessed to have her dream job! Taylor has a successful career as a sales and marketing executive and has a flexible schedule. He takes pride in the fact that he has never missed a preschool performance or a Halloween parade. He works hard to maintain a healthy balance between work and home and is an amazing father. We consider ourselves to be truly fortunate to have the ability to put family first in everything that we do!

Cultural Diversity

We feel cultural diversity is an incredibly important part of day to day life. We believe that we can all learn from each other, and our differences are what make us special. We have a group of diverse friends and also pride ourselves on being members of a diverse church. We feel that it is important to be knowledgeable of ones individual heritage and plan on making that a priority if we are blessed enough to adopt a child. We welcome the idea of adopting outside our race and look forward to exploring and experiencing different cultures.

What it Means to be Parents

Naptime at the Beach
There is no greater love than the love we have as parents. Our love for our son is all consuming and greater than anything we ever could have imagined. We know, without a doubt, that our love will be equally strong when we are able to grow our family through adoption. We feel blessed to be led down this path and look forward to expanding our family through adoption!
