Our family is anxiously awaiting a baby to love and care for. We can offer her all the love, support, confidence and guidance she will need to follow her dreams. We cannot begin to imagine how difficult this decision may be, but we want to assure you that we will give her all that she needs and more, each and every day. This would be the greatest gift that you could give to our family, and we will be forever grateful.

You are probably wondering why we choose adoption when we already have 3 children of our own. The answer is easy. We realize how blessed we are and that we have all of the love and resources needed to give your baby a loving home where she can feel safe and secure. Not only will she have two parents that love each other and her unconditionally, but she will have two brothers and a sister that will love her, protect her and guide her as she grows into a beautiful young woman. She is the missing puzzle piece that will make our family complete.
We have been touched by adoption over the years as friends and family have chosen adoption as a natural way to expand their families. Brent's brother and sister-in-law adopted their two sons and we have seen how wonderful it has been for their family. He also has two cousins that were adopted as well.
We also plan to be open with your baby about her adoption. We want her to know that she was loved unconditionally by you, her birth parent(s). We want her to understand that you wanted more for her than you were able to give by no fault of your own. We have the utmost respect for you and the fact that you have chosen adoption.

Education and faith are very important to us. In our family, they go hand in hand. All three of our children attend Catholic schools. It allows our beliefs to be reinforced at the school level as well as at home. We feel that a quality education will give them a head start as they begin life as an adult. It is very important to us that we teach them how to make good choices and how to learn from their mistakes. Each meal begins with a prayer, and we attend Mass together each Sunday as a family. We feel very blessed to come from Catholic families, and have chosen to give that same thing to our children.

We believe very strongly in the benefits of higher education. We begin discussion at a very young age about college, encouraging them to follow their dreams. We feel so strongly about it that we begin financial planning for college before they reach their 1st birthday.
Christmas Eve at Grandma's
Traditions are a very important part of our family life because we feel that traditions are the foundations of good childhood memories. We grew up in families rich it tradition. We have brought them together, keeping some and adding a few new ones of our own.
We celebrate Christmas Eve with Leann's family. We enjoy time together playing pool, laughing and preparing our traditional Christmas Eve meal. After supper, Santa and his elf, "Jingle", stop by to visit. We gather around and sing a couple of Christmas carols. We conclude the evening with midnight Mass and everyone takes home some of 's homemade cinnamon rolls to share on Christmas morning.
Go Jayhawks
Brent's family meets several times a year as well. The kids especially enjoy the annual Easter Egg Hunt. After the kids are done hunting eggs, you can find kids and adults alike together playing cards and munching on the homemade desserts. They also gather each year for a 4th of July BBQ and fireworks display.
Some traditions that we have added include an annual visit to a pumpkin patch to select our pumpkins for carving. At Christmas we enjoy loading in the car to look at the lights while listening to Christmas carols on the radio. We also spend a week at the lake house in Missouri and camp on Memorial Day Weekend and Labor Day Weekend with family and friends. We also love to cheer on our Kansas Jayhawks in football and basketball and fill out NCAA Basketball Tournament brackets.
