Our Favorite Vacation Spot
Sailing on a Pirate Ship in the Carribean

Traveling is something that we both enjoy. We have visited many places since our marriage in 2003. We actually have two favorite vacation spots, Barcelona, Spain and St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands. We visited both places on two different cruises we took to coastal cities in Europe and The Caribbean. Cruising has enabled us to bundle many different countries and experiences into relatively short vacations and we enjoy getting all dressed up for formal dining nights, watching great shows and having professional quality photos to preserve our great experiences. We also look forward to the many available shore excursions in each port of call, such as snorkeling, exploring historical sites and ancient ruins, learning firsthand about local peoples and customs, as well as shopping for hard to find items and fun souvenirs. The cruise line we prefer (Carnival) is very family friendly and they have a fantastic, safe and fully supervised kid's day camp onboard every ship that coordinates many fun, age appropriate activities and creative learning experiences for children aboard on day's at sea.

Strengths As Individuals
All Smiles as the Balloons Take Flight

Ryan's greatest strength is his confidence in all that he sets out to do. When he sets his mind on accomplishing something, he gives it his all and as a result, is usually very successful. It is this perseverance and determination that Karen noticed and fell in love with early on in their relationship. It certainly is not his only strength. His confidence is complimented by intelligence, as well as a friendly and generous spirit. He is always willing to help someone out if needed. Over the years, this has gained him respect and admiration from a lot of friends.

Karen is the kind of person that will do just about anything for anyone and she really enjoys the satisfaction she gets from helping others. Karen is extremely bright and is equally talented in the kitchen. She is known by family, friends and co-workers alike for both her cooking and baking. Karen is very creative and frequently does arts and crafts in her spare time. She is a very kind-hearted person with a lot of love to share and would cherish the opportunity to become a mother.

We are the people we are today; strong, kind, helpful, hard working and generous, because of the love, moral values and excellent parenting we received from our families. We believe that our collective strengths as a couple will help us become great parents and are eagerly looking forward to it.

Education
Blasting Off At Disney

Education is very important to us, and as a result we want to provide your child with the best education possible. Not only is it important for us to live in an area with a great school district, which we do, but we believe parent involvement is also essential and so are fully prepared to be active contributors to your child's education. We look forward to sitting down at the kitchen table after school and working on homework or helping with school science and history projects. We both fondly remember our parents helping and supporting us throughout our primary school years and we want to give that same level of commitment and educational focus back to your child, to ensure they understand the importance of working hard and learn how to think for themselves (a critical life skill). We also firmly believe that school social activities are important for a child's social and behavioral development. Lastly, we will encourage your child to go to college because we know it will open doors and give them access to higher level opportunities than if they do not attend college. We both attribute a good part of our intellectual self confidence and overall well-roundedness to the time we have spent furthering our educations.
