Kevin & Tracey
Dear Birth Parent(s),

Thank you for reading our letter and reviewing our profile. We understand what a difficult decision this must be for you and it shows the remarkable courage and unselfishness you possess. You are a special person to put the needs of your baby first and your ability to make this decision shows how much you love and care for this child. Your child will always know of your extraordinary qualities and how he or she became a part of our family.

We are very excited about adopting a child and appreciate the opportunity to introduce ourselves. Our names are Tracey and Kevin. We have been married for over ten years and have been in each other's lives for over fifteen years. We feel that we have always been together and we know we always will be. We have a solid, loving and committed relationship and a strong desire to share our love with children.

Children have always been important to us and we have always enjoyed spending time with them. We actually met each other while working at a YMCA where one of our job functions was teaching swim lessons to children of all ages. Tracey still continues to enjoy her involvement with children at the local YMCA. While our son participates in a play group at the Y, Tracey teaches swimming to preschoolers.

To help you envision the life your child will have with our family, we would like to share with you a bit about our family and our views on parenting. We believe that childhood is a special time. It is a time for exploration, creativity, learning, fantasy and fun. Your child will be encouraged to create with Play-doh or modeling clay, color with crayons and markers, and paint with finger paints and watercolors. We will set aside time everyday for reading stories. During autumn we will have fun discovering all of the different colors the leaves turn and the crinkling sounds they make when we play in them. We will laugh when we throw the leaves into the wind and try to catch them as they float back down. We will strive to create an environment that will promote self confidence, self respect, high self esteem, and regard for others. We know it is essential for the home environment to encourage children to discover their own abilities. We will always encourage your child to follow his or her own dreams. Our love, support, and guidance will help your child grow into a happy, healthy, well adjusted adult.

We make it a priority to spend quality time together as a family. We spend leisure time enjoying many activities. Some of these include biking, boating, picnics in the park, trips to the beach, amusement parks, museums, and visits to the community pool. We also have fun during the winter months sledding, skiing, and building snowmen. We enjoy quiet time at home together playing games, watching family movies and sharing stories. We like traveling, discovering new places, vacationing and long weekend getaways. We are looking forward to sharing these activities and adventures with your little boy or girl.

In addition to spending time as a family we feel it is important for children to spend one-on-one quality time with each parent such as sharing conversation over breakfast or lunch at a restaurant, playing basketball at a gym or park or having fun at the movie theater. We will always make sure to spend individual time with each of our children.

We feel it is important to have a parent in the home raising children and Tracey enjoys being a stay-at-home mom. We want to be involved with our children on a daily basis and look forward to participating in parent child activities. We want to be there for our children to provide guidance, help them learn how to make appropriate and safe choices and personally instill positive morals and values.

Your child will have a very loving big brother. His name is Justin and he was born in 1999. He is excited about being a big brother and is looking forward to the arrival of his new brother or sister. Your child will be surrounded by a warm and loving extended family, including two grandmas, a grandpa, many aunts and uncles and lots of cousins. Everyone is excited about and supportive of our decision to adopt a child. In addition your child will grow up in a neighborhood filled with children. The neighborhood is echoed by laughter and the sounds of children playing.

We would like to thank you again for considering us to raise your child. We hope that this letter and profile have given you an idea about who we are. We are looking forward to opening our hearts and home to a child and if chosen we will be forever grateful to you for the precious gift you have given to us. We are confident that with us, your child will have a wonderful life full of family, friends, and joy. Most importantly, your child will know love and be loved.

God Bless You,

Kevin & Tracey
