Thank you for reading our family profile. We can only imagine how difficult this time is for you and appreciate your courage to make this decision. We understand the importance of placing your child with the appropriate couple. If you decide that we are that couple, you can rest assured that your child will be loved and understand the selfless choice you made.

Our names are Mike and Lynn, and we each believe that we married our best friend. We share everything in life including the desire to have children and raise them with love, patience, understanding, and a strong sense of self-worth. Prior to marriage, we had planned on adopting children in addition to having our own. After numerous tests and doctors visits, we have learned that adopting a child is our only hope to have the family that we've dreamed of having.

We both grew up with loving and supportive families and truly value spending time with them. Lynn's family lives nearby and we often get together for dinner, special occasions, or just a night of playing games. Mike's family lives further away, but they visit us often. We also make trips to Mike's childhood home, and each year we join his whole family for an annual family get-together.

Lynn is a contract manager for a defense firm where she has been an employee for many years. In the summer she enjoys gardening, camping, taking walks, and other outside activities. In the winter months she spends time making greeting cards, crocheting, and reading novels. Lynn grew up with her parents and two sisters just outside a major city. Lynn and her sisters are the best of friends and they love spending time together with their families.

Mike spent many years in the defense industry, both in the military and with a corporation. He is now a self-employed financial consultant, working from home. In his free time, Mike enjoys doing home improvement projects and has done a fabulous job landscaping the yard and creating gardens for Lynn to plant flowers in. Mike also enjoys volunteering for community functions, such as local festivals where he participates in the parades.

We spend most of our free time together and enjoy many of the same things. We love working in our yard together and playing ball with our dog Angel. We enjoy having friends over for holiday parties, especially Christmas where we go caroling in our neighborhood. Summer weekends are often spent in one of the numerous campgrounds and resorts in the area.

The life that awaits a child with us is one filled with love, laughter, education and financial stability. Please know that if we are chosen, we will show him/her the importance of family, education, and community. We don't know about your individual situation or needs, but we would like to. We are receptive to your wishes and want to work with you to the extent you would want us to.

We hope this letter and profile have allowed you to get to know us a little, and that they have helped you decide that we are the right family for your child. If you choose us as the family to raise your baby, we will always be grateful for the precious gift that you have given us. Whatever you decide, we wish you the very best.
